A lovely property with a spacious room, comfy bed and a big bathroom. Its right across the street from Ballerat train stn and it was easy to walk everywhere. The restaurant attached to the hotel, is called Lola and was wonderful. Great atmosphere, delicious food and customer service team were fantastic!

The property had lovely tasteful decor which was a plus staying in that environment. Very clean also. It was disappointing that there was a problem with the liquor license but hopefully for them that will soon be rectified.

The Provincial is a beautiful old heritage hotel in a great location in Ballarat however since my last stay I can see that the love and care is not as good as it was and unfortunately the new owners did not have a liquor license yet so it felt as though the Hotel was just not firing on all cylinders.
