Spectacular location and ocean view right on the coast line with everything in close walking distance but not in the middle of the noisy commercial zone

Rompeolas is a pleasant, older-style, hotel with great sea views. It sits on its own and is situated just outside (to the west) of the 'main' area of Baiona but is not far from cafes and restaurants. The service was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The draw of the hotel is the sea and island views - also available from a large lounge or common area. We would recommend Hotel Rompeolas.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
The only thing nice we can say about this hotel is that it is very clean and it has a great ocean view. Beyond that, there is no reason to come here and it is a half mile walk to town to get anything to eat since they fo not serve meals other than breakfast until 11 am. The beds are tiny and extremely uncomfortable, the rooms are lacking furnishings in every way and the walls are paper thin. The common areas are like you are disturbing somebody in their own living room and amenities are unheard of. There is no reason to come here unless you need a place to crash for the night.
