Greater location on the river and super convenient to the train station. Plentiful of restaurants and shops nearby, including a 7-Eleven. Lovely staff. Basic but comfortable rooms in a charming old building. Great value for money.

Very unique homestay run by a family. Lovely helpful people. Would stay here again.
Amazing Spot Right on the River, Near Train Statio
I stayed in one of the upstairs, teak rooms with fan and shared bath this time. Exceptional value with a comfortable room and clean, shared facilities. Wonderful raised area along the river to gather with friends and enjoy the views. Convenient to the shuttle boat across to the main town and along a traveler-friendly street near the train station. This has become my go-to accommodation choice in Ayutthaya.
Our pleasant stay was helped by Pitcher, our friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge who immediately made us feel welcome. 5 mins walk from the Station was a huge bonus on a hot day. Highly recommended!
Very traditional, beautifully preserved wooden building, with all the charm you need. Shared living room upstairs with the open view on the river, couple of tables and comfortable seats. Downstairs patio going straight onto the river, where you can have morning drink, observing boats going around.
Shared bathrooms weren't a problem, as there is not too many rooms.
Boat away from the city centre and short walk to the train station.
Should be used as a museum or only for family use..
Shared bathroom, not much comfortable, noisy from inside and outside..no refridgerator in the rooms..the location is near train station. The House has some beauty..and riverside terrace...banking dog at early morning..no breakfast but fee coffee and tea. Somehow overpriced rooms for what You get.
An old wooden building with excellent value rooms. Shared bathrooms are clean with good water pressure. Downstairs rooms have en suite bath with TV and aircon. Right on the river. Perfect for catching an onward train. Family run guesthouse with laundry service and assistance booking local tours and transportation. I have stayed here several times and look forward to my next visit. They also offer showers for non guests for only 50 baht if you want to clean up before your onward travel. This place is a real gem.
This place is in a great location, near the train station and motorboat port, with easy access to local services like tuktuks. It's also very helpful for discovering travel destinations. The common area is really nice and located close to the Pasak River. The room is very clean, and the entire place has a charming feel, built with traditional Thai-style wood. I also love their cat.
It rained a lot and the water from the river came into the lobby, but it was fun to build a bridge up to the second floor to get in and out. An old, well-maintained wooden building made me a time traveler. The hostess made me feel comfortable just like my grandmother.
Even though i paid for this hotel i never stayed there. I sent three emails starting a few days before i arrived, informing the hotel i was arriving and could i drop off my bags. No reply to any of my 3 emails. I even went to the hotel and knocked on the door, but no answer - not even the huge dog i could see through the door stirred. Anyway chose a very nice alternative nearby. I finally did get a reply when i email the hotel to say yiu can keep the money - to which i got the simple reply ‘thank you’! My Asia trip is 4 weeks and this is the only hotel that i have had problems with…

Das Haus ist wunderbar, aber unser Zimmer war …. na ja: you get what you pay.
Emplacement pratique. Gare, bateaux, quelques restau.
Well-run homestay with a hostess who knows how to take care of the guests in the best possible way. Select the room with aircon for best comfort. Believe me, you don't want to go for the fan-only room in this lovely establishment. You want to go to full mile and have it all. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with utmost dedication. The location is superb for backpackers waiting for their next train to Chiang Mai, or wherever they are destined to go. The Wifi was surprisingly leopard-like fast in an old Thai style house like this. The shared bathroom is not an issue if you don't have a bad stomach and the parking space are plentiful if you are willing to walk the extra steps. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend this place, A slight deduction has been made due to very thin wall, thus you can hear every gossip from your neighbor.
The lady at the front desk was very rude. She made me pay an extra fee to have a private bathroom, something that was not explained on the Expedia booking, although, she said I was suppose to know that. Also, the restaurant was closed when we showed up. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
