"The staff at this place are extremely unprofessional. I forgot my wallet in the hotel safe, called two days later and was told that housekeeping said the safe was open and empty. Asked for manager to call me. Manager called and said they discovered that security had it (two days later still hadn't turned it in!). They said they would mail it to me. I had to pay UPS $30 for shipping, and a week later they still had not shipped it. They asked me to pay an additional $10 for UPS to come pick it up. They obviously had no regard for how important my wallet was to me and provided zero explanation for 1) the staff finding it and not turning it in, or 2) the week delay (with two follow ups) before they actually got to shipping it to me. "

"Clean room and housekeeping is exceptional. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Avon shuttle stops at front door. Easy access to skiing, grocery, shops and restaurants. Quick shuttle to Walmart. Clean hot tubs. Small one bedroom with kitchenette. Comfy bed. "

"Another great stay with Pines Lodge, will visit again if we are in the area. Cozy room and lobby, and really enjoyed the water machine in the lobby as well as the coffee every morning in our hallway. Enjoyed the hot tub and heated boot racks as well! Only complaint is the ski out was completely icy and difficult to navigate in ski boots- it felt like an accident waiting to happen!"

"This location was convenient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but they did run out of yogurt (sorry, we'll have some tomorrow). The one thing that surprised me was the $20/night charge for parking. I don't recall seeing that when I reserved and it's not like this hotel is located in a city or close to an airport, so 95+% of people are going to have a car. This just feels like a way to keep the listed price low, but then tack on an added fee."
