The bathroom vent/light/fan is open, rusty and has spray foam insulation sticking out. The toilet seat was loose and would shift sideways. The vanity light has no cover. The bathmat was stained. The sheets and bed cover had stains. Otherwise, the room was clean and neat.

Was in town for the weekend with my kids. I always look for a hotel with a breakfast for my kids. This breakfast pictured and the actual breakfast are not the same. Only coffee, sausage and waffles. No juice, no water, no milk/cereal. Not ideal for kids. When housekeeping "cleaned" our room, it was subpar. They took the dirty towels but didnt leave clean ones. Beds were old and not comfy by no means. I guess for the price it is ok, but wouldnt stay again.

The room was perfectly adequate for the price. It was ideally located for my event. It looks worn from the outside but the room was clean and maintained. The “Deluxe Continental Breakfast” was kind of funny. Coffee machine. The refrigerator held only pats of butter. There were five unwrapped slices of white bread stacked next to the toaster or, as an alternative, cellophane wrapped Hostess danish. There was a pan with link sausage. It had more the first day because they brought out the same bowl with what was left over the second day. The DIY waffle machine worked fine. I didn’t expect much and got exactly what I expected.

It's the kind of place where construction workers stay for a month. It's very run down, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I didn't feel unsafe. The breakfast was just okay. The light over the sink didn't work and the toilet didn't work too well.

It was a nice lodge loved the pictures especially the one Welcome to Austin. Near a great seafood place hook and reel and Jim's home cooking. Good pricing for 3 nights. Would definitely go back if going to Austin. Wish I had some photos would share them

Best Dive Motel in Austin

If you are looking for a cheap room in Austin, go with this place. It is decent. Not a great neighborhood, but the parking lot is fairly secure, they actually serve you a breakfast in the morning, and the staff is friendly. It is decently clean. This is a dive motel, but it is best in class for Austin.

Convenient and basic

Definitely a no-frills Motel. It was convenient to our activity in Austin. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable however, the pillows seemed well worn and flat and uncomfortable. Price was reasonable.

Pleasant stay in North Austin

Pretty nice spot. The rooms were surprisingly nice inside. Plenty of great restaurants and activities nearby. Parking lot entrance a tad tricky being near the major intersection. Altogether a very respectable stay.
