"Clean and comfortable accomodations. Quiet. Only complaint was the wife thought the water did not get hot enough to take a hot bath.
Fun surroundings with farm atmosphere and peaceful area."

"Overall, great location and beautiful accommodations. We did experience an issue with the balcony door lock which was broken. Secondary lock mechanism difficult and jammed which kept us from accessing the balcony easily.
Body wash in shower was empty when we first arrived, felt housekeeping should have refilled prior to next arrival.
I would stay here again though. Great views!"
"Lovely Inn! Hosts Beth & John and their staff were so inviting and hospitable throughout our stay. Every need that a guest could have was already thoroughly thought out and provided in a most comfortable and charming relaxed southern vibe. Treat yourself to a retreat at this very special home away from home!"
"A little dated, could use some TLC. But the location is superb! With a little updating I’d easily feel good about spending double what I did for my stay!"
"I reserved a room that was supposed to have a couch as well. While the room was acceptable looking, it was small and only had a chair wedged between the wall and the queen sized bed and no couch. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and with my bad back I could hardly walk the next day, and when I spoke with the staff, I learned there were no other rooms for me to move. The shower had empty soap and shampoo containers on the wall. I checked out of the hotel after my first full night, to get a more acceptable room and more comfortable bed and expected I would receive a credit for the remaining two nights that I did not stay at the Candlewood Suites, but the clerk told me she could not credit for the remaining two nights and that I would have to contact Expedia. I booked a room at another hotel down the road, also using Expedia. When I contacted Expedia to inform them of the unacceptable room and inaccurate description of what I paid for, they stated they would contact the manager to attempt to obtain a refund for the two nights that I did not stay in The Candlewood Suites. I was contacted a day later and informed I would not receive any credit for the two nights that I did not stay. I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you expecting a subpar experience. Additionally they do not provide even a continental breakfast like most other hotels."
"We did not get the room that we booked through expedia. I can't get any money back for my suite that we booked because we went through a 3rd party. Now, I have to got back to expedia to dispute this because it was their fault. They booked a room that wasn't even available. We didn't know until we got to the hotel. We had to pay for a second room so the others could have room to sleep. They did give us a little discount but still not enough to make up for the amount we spent on the riverview balcony suite that we paid for. It was very disappointing."
"We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in the near future."
