Day 1 - Haridwar to Joshimath
1 bus, 11 people, 12 hours.
Deprived of sleep, I spent most of the time taking a nap or clicking pictures. We did introductions on the way, stopped for meals and learnt about the region from our much experienced driver.
I was at Valley of flowers, Uttarakhand in the last week of July, a 6 day trip - my first after leaving the cubicle, also my first without anyone I knew.
I will be sharing one picture each day taking you through the journey and stories about how I managed to survive the first trek of my life.
