Perfect spot on Waiheke

Our stay at Wild Thyme was perfect, the apartment was modern, stylish and very clean. The view was stunning and we enjoyed sitting on the huge deck taking in the view. Bruce and Jules were fantastic to deal with and gave great advice and tips, we appreciated the pickup and drop off from the ferry terminal. Wild Thyme is one of the nicest apartments we’ve stayed at, all in all a 10 out of 10 experience, would defiantly recommend.

Relaxing and quiet with a beautiful view - comfy furniture with your own outdoor furniture! Very courteous and helpful hosts - nothing was too much trouble - very much appreciated the tips and the assist with the luggage - highly recommend!!

Great Time at Wild Thyme

We only stayed one night at Wild Thyme but loved it. Apart from a great location (walk to the beach and close to town), the service was amazing - we left our baby's book and toys by accident and Bruce posted them to us so we can have a happy baby for the rest of our holiday. Our rental car also got a flat tire and had to stay in their driveway too. Thank you for your patience!!

Great location with a pleasant 10-15 min walk to town. The host had a bottle of bubbles for us in the fridge - What a nice touch! The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious with heated floors and a beautiful shower. The outdoor seating is very relaxing with gorgeous views of the bay. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay on waiheke!

Very sad to leave this idyllic spot

What can we say - 5 stars in every aspect - everything about the accommodation, its location, the hosts Bruce and Jules and their welcome, their recommendations, the island itself etc etc etc. Dragging ourselves away from the property to explore the island was not easy. The pictures do not do it justice. We would go back there in a heartbeat. So sorry it has taken so long to review you guys following our stay in mid February, our best to you both in these strange times of Corona virus and hope Miss Nikki is doing well :)

Bruce is a wonderful host and went out of his way to assure we were comfortable, including pick-up and drop-off at the ferry, which really is a fantastic plus! The property itself is very nice, exceptionally clean and well-cared for, while its location in Little Oneroa is a great base for Waiheke. We rented a car for two days, but saw many visitors using the local buses that stop conveniently close to Wild Thyme.

Great place just 10 minute walk from Oneroa

The hosts at Wild Thyme were the most lovely people - chatting to us about all the things to do and even offering to give us a lift to the ferry at the end of our stay. The view from the room is stunning and it is a very large room with private patio, outdoor seating and barbecue. Beach towels and even sun cream was provided which was also a nice touch. Perhaps it was just that we were staying during the New Year summer period and/or it is generally expensive on Waiheke but the value for money could maybe be better given it is self sustained - i.e. no breakfast or cleaning during your stay.

I had the most fabulous stay at Wild Thyme! There is nothing you could improve. A fabulous location, super clean, comfortable, private and the most beautiful views. Could not ask for anything better

The place is clean, new, tasteful, modern with all the comforts and amenities you can ask for. The owner came by to ensure we have everything we need. It was private and in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was large and sparkling clean, WiFi worked great, TV's had good channels, lightings were fantastic and the view was awesome. There is a resident cat is available to entertain you in case your children need a pet to play with. Overall fantastic and would definitely recommend.

The room was fantastic. It looked newly renovated with new carpet, nice furniture and included a very modern bathroom with heated floors and amenities. The view from the room was fantastic and we could see part of Oneroa Bay from the balcony and from inside the room. Graham, who greeted us, was very friendly and left us a bottle of sparkly to welcome us. Nicci the cat was also good company during the stay.
