Beautiful views and such lovely, clean and modern accomodation. Such an easy check in process and I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be staying again!

This cosy studio offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and Auckland city. Host was friendly and welcomed us warmly. However be aware: 1) This place is next to the ferry peer, but without a car you will have to drag luggage up a very steep and dusty slope! 2) Check out is strictly 10am. As we were 15mins late the host was very pushy. He knocked on our door, let in the cleaning ladies and watched us packing until we left. A bit too much given check-in is not before 2pm and there are only two units to clean. Ruined the good experience.

Great property - superb views and accommodation is very good. Nothing was an issue though we advised the owner that the really bad winds caused the fan in the bathroom to bang all through the night....just something to fix but as mentioned it didn’t detract from our stay in the accommodation

Excellent location! Just off the ferry stop (although it is a steep uphill on a rocky drive!) with great views overlooking the harbor and Auckland. Lovely deck to watch the sunset and stargaze. Modern, updated rooms. Short walk into town to shops and restaurants. Only negatives-WiFi was very weak and water supply would run out and you’d have to wait for it to refill.

Great break

Had trouble finding the property initially as it is about 500 metres from the Ferry!! up the hill it has a panoramic view over the Matiatia ferry terminal and across to Auckland in the far distance. Far enough away to know you've left the Rat Race behind!! All very new, so super clean and modern. Just sit on the deck off the lounge, overlooking the bay and watch the sun set over Auckland. Fabulous hosts who were most obliging As you can guess, we had a fantastic break, sadly just for a night but still refreshing

We stayed for two nights and we liked everything with Mooring. The view was absolutely breath taking. At night we could see Auckland skylights. We had breakfast outside looking over the ocean. The studio was modern and was very clean. Bed and bedlinen very comfortable. Selfcontained and we made a roast lamb on the BBQ outside. Picked fresh tomatos and jalapenos from the garden. You can book both studios if you are family or friends and still have your privacy when you go to bed. Will we recomend it? Absolutely Will we book it again? Yes but next time for a week

Awesome views of Matiatia Bay, Auckland, and summer sunset from the porch. Very clean room. Only accessible by a steep dirt road to the property- need a car or Taxi service to reach property. Great place to stay on Waiheke Island- only wish we would have known more about the island- would have stayed for 3-4 days and relax.
