The staff didn't seem interested in helping with my request. My back to back booking made it complicated to have my key recut the night before, even though I agreed to pay an upgrade fee to stay in the same room. (maybe this is a procedure for the hotel)
However, the following morning, when I went down to request the key recut, the same staff member had an earphone in and didn't show any willingness to help or even smile. Staff asked me to repeat my request without bothering to remove the AirPod. I was really disappointed and saddened by this experience, especially since it was such a beautiful property. It's a shame that my interaction with this one staff member was not great at all, especially considering the number of night I stayed. It seems like staff may need some additional training.
