Everything is so easy here... plenty of parking, super friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and great restaurant. Travelling for work, I really appreciated being able to use the spacious comfortable bar area to meet business colleagues - with coffee available too!! I must also comment on the fantastic service from the restaurant team!

Staff were actually so friendly and attentive. Had an excellent check in experience. Also left something in my room when I left, and all was found and reported by housekeeping. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff who made the stay better.

A rather unusual hotel layout that puts an Ibis and Novotel in the same building. Very pretty though, and it means that even if you go budget, you get a very nice restaurant built straight into the hotel with a breakfast buffet that, while an upcharge, I think is overall worth it. The room was pretty chic and comfy, though the king bed was actually just two double mattresses side-by-side and this had me waking up with a numb foot on my first morning. Its location is also quite nice; you're right next to Ellerslie Racecourse, just 20 minutes walking from the ASB Showgrounds, and right next to Greenlane Station so you can get downtown easily. Staff were also super friendly and on multiple occasions I spent tens of minutes yapping away about my trip or about Auckland in general. If it's this part of Auckland you've got business in, then this is a pretty great choice.

Take plenty of money if you plan to dine and drink there as everything is really expensive and then on top of that they charge $20 fee to park on the premises which isn’t mentioned on their website. The rooms are small and pokey but comfortable

Beer was a wee bit pricey but you can expect that in a hotel, the dinner Buffett closed at 9pm not 10pm like advertised but you can still buy bar meals through the bar which comes from the same place. No parking direct at property unless you strike it lucky but has a car park out the rear which is just as good and not too far! Rooms are nice and easy to get too.
