Room was spotless, lovely complimentary snacks. Late checkout at 11am granted. Great comfy bed and bedding. Only 4 stars as Balcony area not private when neighbours are out there as well. Also I had to park in mobility car park as all car parks were taken up. Otherwise enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

It was so clean, new feeling. Eveything was perfect. We called them when one of the number pins didnt work, they answered fast and helped great. Loved staying there. And the little gift was exactly what we needed after driving 3 hours to get there. The kids loved all the little snacks.

The Arluxia is my favourite hotel in Auckland with parking. Brand new, quiet, warm, clean and comfortable rooms with a superb location tucked off Ponsonby Road. Secure car parking and a beautiful welcome basket.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arluxia. The location was perfect, a two minute walk to Ponsonby Rd and all it has to offer, and we went down to the Viaduct for an evening, less than a 10 min drive. Amenities we loved; parking, laundry, kitchenette setup (kettle, mini fridge, utensils, dishware, microwave, sink, Nespresso machine…) The view from our room was great, we enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck while taking in the view. The bed was comfortable, black out curtains and a/c all added to great sleeps. We used it as a base for our 3 nights in a tournament in a town nearby, Oratia, and it worked out nicely. It was always something we looked forward to, coming back to the room, and not having to fuss over much because we had everything we needed, either in the room or a 2 minute walk away. We had a couple requests that were responded to very quickly, communication was excellent. We really loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Excellent location

The location is excellent being one street off the main road so very close to shops and restaurants and despite being so close to the main road, the room was quiet with no noise from traffic etc. The room was great and spacious, and excellent parking. My only very minor feedback/suggestion would in the bathroom there was no shelf or area to leave items such as toothbrush/hair products etc which would have been useful

Great property. Easy 5 minute drive into Auckland City. Free parking on site. Room was spacious and great colour scheme. Only downside was bed moved on wheels when rolling over, maybe they weren't locked.

Contemporary in the heart of trendy Ponsonby

Absolutely perfect location, great views of downtown Auckland, just one street from trendy restaurants, modern/contemporary, secure parking, quiet. Two slightly smaller chairs on the outside balcony would have been nice rather than one large chair, and just one keycard was inconvenient for a couple. Would stay again for sure.

Ponsonby Comfort

Lovely boutique hotel in a wonderful location just around the corner from lots of shops, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants on Ponsonby. Beautiful view of the skyline. Everything you need is there, but no staff or lobby on site. The staff communicated extremely well and made our checkin and stay very easy.
