"A bit of a mixed bag, the hosts were great and welcoming. I guess as it was just out of season the advertised restaurant / bar was not in operation. A bit of a remote location and a 20 minute drive to get food in the evening. Breakfast was great and delivered with a personal touch."

"Historic building and surrounding estate. After seeing many of these from the outside , it was enchanting to be inside and dream about life as a resident. "

"The room was comfortable, though on the small side. Really comfortable bed and lovely sheets. No real reception area. Area around the hotel now sadly very run-down, though there is some regeneration happening."
