「While I truly wanted to enjoy my stay here, it was not possible. First the positives: the property is beautiful, the restaurant serves excellent food and wine, and the staff were truly helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms suffer from water damage and ventilation challenges and have a musty smell. I hope that the property can address this issue in the future. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant but not the hotel.」

「Cute small hotel. The room was very clean, looked renovated and new. The location is wonderful, in the middle of a city, next to restaurants. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Might be difficult to find parking on Saturday. 」

However, if you have a pool, people will use it; if they use it, you need to have staff who can make sure it's clean and that there are enough towels. If you offer water, make sure the jug is full. 「This property is only for those that understand that this is a 500 year old property with an adjacent horse barn. You are going to have flies and bugs. Be prepared. But it is an amazing experience if you can oversee certain aspects. It is rustic but well taken care of. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly. I loved it!」
