"the check in was fast and efficient. the attendant was pleasant and informative. The room was clean, quiet and with shades drawn dark for sleep. The breakfast was wonderful especially with the animated chef making the omelets! It was a nice get away from the same old, same old at home."

"Pool was closed for repairs. Not that big of a deal. Front counter was a bunch of getto ass blacks stealing hotel blind. Valet was nice though."

"Overall, the experience was okay, but there were several issues that would make me think twice about staying again. The location right on the beach was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The attached store was also convenient and reasonably priced. However, there were several issues. The first two rooms we were shown had small flying bugs on the walls, so we had to switch. The room we stayed in was basic and mostly clean, but had a strong “wet dog” smell that didn’t go away. The carpet needs replacing. The balcony setup lacks privacy—there are no dividers, so you can see and easily access neighboring balconies, which felt uncomfortable. The walls are very thin, and loud neighbors one night made it hard to sleep. The room had a desk but no chair, which was odd. The pool area was not usable in my opinion—it didn’t appear clean, had heavy condensation, and water covered much of the seating area. Parking was also difficult, and we had to use overflow parking across the street the entire stay. I have lower expectations for oceanfront hotels, which is why I’m giving 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be closer to 1–2."

"Since the ocean was too cold to swim in, it was great to have two outdoor and one indoor pool to play in. The view from the 11th floor was also incredible (if you can wake up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise). All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of things to do to keep a 5-year-old occupied throughout our time, including the daily activities."
