We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and really liked this property. The grounds itself has plenty to do from tennis/pickleball, 2 hot tubs, 3 pools (one indoor), playgrounds, etc. It also has direct beach access and is walkable to a few shops, even to the boardwalk if you don't mind walking a bit. We walked to the circle in the morning to get coffee and a walk on the beach. The property does have some age and little things showed the age, but it was very clean. My only complaint is that the room was built with a connecting door that is paper thin and our neighbors were so, so loud. Luckily they left around 10pm to bar hop.

There are no signs showing this is a Ramada or Wyndham owned property. Only sign says "Peppertree Atlantic Beach Villas" which felt a little shady. Got there at night and was very confused. Finally followed check-in signs and both the front and rear doors of the front desk were locked. You're apparently supposed to call the security number in this situation which we found out from a guy at a "guard" booth. That being said, the room was welcome surprise and very spacious and the buildings were in good shape so I'd possibly give it another chance. Not really sure what the management situation really is.

We used to stay here often but Wyndham took over and it’s definitely run down. The bathroom has a brown substance on the shower curtain and mold in the shower. Other than that it was clean. The bed was comfortable. Only other issue we had was we showed up along with another family to check in and no one was there. We called the number they told the other family “ I’m busy you have to just wait 20 minutes “ by the time they showed up 3 parties including us were backed up to check in. Definitely not the same as it used to be.

The room was not well cleaned, and we found used soap in the bathroom garbage, cooked bacon, and sausage left in the microwave and no lock on the adjoining room door. It was also poorly insulated and there was a lot of noise transfer from our neighbors. They were only on one side as we we on the top floor at the end of the hall.

Beautiful resort with lots of amenities. There were 2 surprises, parking is $9 per night/per car. Office is closed after 7pm. We arrived after 7pm and wasn't sure what we needed to do so we called security. Security was able to check us in but there was no mention on Expedia of parking fees or closed office. There is no mention on the office door to call security for check in either. Staff was very nice, resort is clean and convenient, beach is beautiful.

Our room was literally disgusting. We mopped the floor and the floor was still black in places. No soap in bathrooms. Couldn’t find any remotes in room for tvs. Beds were comfy and clean.

This is our second time here and as always it's amazing. The only issue we had was the pool being so cold but we were there in the dead of winter and not many people were there due to this. So I'm guessing the heated pool was turned off or it wasn't a heated pool. It was an unbearable cold. I don't blame them as I'm sure it's expensive to heat with very limited people staying during the winter. Please let the guests know of this though. Regardless, my stay was amazing and had the place all to ourselves. Can't wait to go back!!!

Not liking the parking fee
We love it here! However, they are charging $9 a night for parking on top of a resort fee. May check out another resort down the road next time. That has free parking and still has access to the beach…

Raggedy room.
Wyndham resort property with low budget motel quality. Very disappointing. Furniture was disgusting, window broken, stove would not turn off and had to turn off fuse box. Definitely would not recommend. Also, have to pay a separate 9$ a day for parking per vehicle.

The room was great except there was a clicking noise all night from the AC that kept waking us up. There were also thin walls and we could hear the neighbors going in and out of the room. Overall it was a good stay and would consider staying here again

Pros: the location was really good. Pretty close to everything you'd want to do in the area. Walking distance to the beach with a nice access area. Two outdoor pools, one indoor and a hot tub. Cons: very, very noisy. They put the hotel stays at the back of the property as the time share people are toward the front. Our bedroom was probably 50 feet from the main road and you could hear every car passing by. Very, Very noisy. Extremely thin walls. We could hear everything the guests beside us were doing. Wasn't a huge issue as they weren't terribly loud but I could see it being a problem if you had loud guests beside or above you. We'll probably try a different place next time we visit.

We happened to stay in the same room we had last year. The same kitchen drawer that was missing last year is still missing, the same bedroom light fixture that was broken last year is still broken, and this year the light in the bathroom over the tub is flickering badly. I question the level of maintenance here. Also, as of April, there is a $9 per night parking fee! Pricey enough without nickel and timing the guests. Add the parking fee to the rate!

This is a very clean property. The rooms are well kept and we found everything worked. Like anybolavmce near salt water sticky gritty door tracks can be an annoyance but are to be expected. The inly thing that you should remain aware of is that parking costs extra, but there are no hidden condo fees that jack the price way up.

We stayed here for a long weekend with my wife and two kids. The property and rooms were adequate. Nothing special but with beach access on site and a great location it met our needs. Everything was clean. We had an issue with our hot water not working the first night but maintenance promptly fixed it the next day and the staff communication was very good. All and all it was a good fit for a long weekend and would book again for that. I’m not sure we would stay for an entire week though.

Large condo unit that was well equipped and comfortable. Large outdoor and indoor pool. Hot tub not working well and mini golf course was in terrible condition.

A vacation spot worth returning to.
My boyfriend and I decided to go to Atlantic Beach on a last minute getaway and could not believe how lucky we were to find this gem of a property! We were amazed at the size of the rooms. I have lived in apartments that were smaller than the 1 bedroom unit we rented. It was very clean and well kept. Updated features and furniture. I was thrilled to see a full-size refrigerator and oven in the kitchen. We also had a full-size washer and dryer in our unit. Can you say, "BONUS"? I was expecting a run-down community style laundry room. We didn't get an opportunity to use the pools, but we did walk by all 3 of them and they appeared to be well-kept. The mini-golf looked a bit rough, but the tennis courts and basketball looked to be in great shape. We can't wait to return. We fell in love not only with the area, but with the Atlantic Beach Resort as well.

Everything was good as far as the rooms, the property, the pools, beach access. I wish they had a later check out hr . 10am check out is too early for a family with 3 children, I’m used to checking out at 11am, it does make a difference for us parents that are trying to get the most of the trip.
