The monarch colony here was quite different than at the more popular El Rosario sanctuary. 40 minutes outside Zitacuaro, near El Capulin, we chartered a couple of tiny mountain horses to take us up the rugged path to view the colony. The monarchs were clustered within a ravine, swirling around a few choice pine trees in search of sunny roosts. Whenever the sun went behind a cloud the butterflies scrambled into the air and back to the safety of the nucleus, knowing that settling down for the night outside the warmth of the colony would mean certain death.

Stayed one night since i was going to a wedding. The hotel's location was great and there's a lot around that area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful! My only suggestion would be to add an additional mirror in the room since the only one available was in the bathroom.

El hotel es muy bonito, las vistas de la terraza preciosas, las camas muy cómodas. Lamentablemente no pudimos dormir, toda la noche estuvo sonando una alarma ( no se si de los bancos que están al lado del hotel) y como a las 6 am prendieron la bomba del agua del hotel o algo así, que hacia muchísimo ruido. Las habitaciones que reservamos estaban en diferentes pisos y en ambos fue mucho ruido. Todo lo demás estuvo muy bien, las habitaciones muy lindas y el personal muy amable.

Hotel Excelente... Problemas en el Estacionamiento

El Hotel es muy limpio, habitaciones muy cómodas con todos los servicios; el único problema es el estacionamiento, ya que lo tienen compartido con un sitio de taxis y el acceso es muy reducido. Cuando llegué al hotel un taxista simplemente no quiso mover su taxi y no pude ingresar al estacionamiento del hotel a pesar que el encargado de la recepción del hotel se lo pidió y aún así no quiso quitarse. Tuve que estacionar mi auto en un estacionamiento público :(

No hay un elevador para las maletas, por lo mismo para las carriolas y mucho peor no es pato para personas con alguna restricción en su movilidad. No hay servicio de ningún tipo de comida y el desayuno solo es si se programa, pero tampoco indican q hay q programarlo. No se entiende por le dicen Hotel Boutique
