Goed hotel in rustig gelegen gebied. Goed en gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Klein hotel, dus gemoedelijk en erg behulpzaam personeel. Zeker een aanrader als je naar Athene komt en overal dichtbij wil zitten, denkend aan bezienswaardigheden e.d.

We had a great stay at Alkima. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. A very comfortable and convenient hotel — we would gladly stay here again.

Overall: 7.5/10 ⭐️ Really enjoyed our stay overall. The location was great, and the service was a real highlight — everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only downside was that the rooms felt a little on the small side, especially once you have a couple of suitcases around, so it can get a bit cramped. For breakfast, I personally would have preferred a buffet option rather than having to specify everything the night before. Also, adding a few sun umbrellas around the rooftop pool/jacuzzi would be a great touch and would make the space more enjoyable throughout the day. Overall, a lovely stay with great service and a fantastic location. Definitely somewhere I’d consider staying again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable and well maintained. On first look, the location seemed a little gritty. But, there were solid security messages and once we found our way around, we able to avoid the areas that were less desirable. The included breakfast was also great!

Alkima was truly a wonderful place to stay. The moment we entered the building we instantly felt welcome by the incredible warmth of the staff. The decor in the entire building is exceptionally beautiful and pleasant and the rooftop is an amazing spot to relax and adds a magical touch to the experience. Thanks to the small size of the hotel, the stay is has an amazing feel of privacy, with the staff providing a true individual, attentive and thoughtful service. The breakfast is delicious and served in a very charming way! The rooms are very cozy, with all the necessary conveniences, and very comfortable beds and pillows that you melt into after long days of sight-seeing. Lastly, the hotel is ideally located within very reasonable walking distance to landmarks and a multitude of restaurants just around the corner. I couldn’t recommend enough this lovely boutique hotel which felt like a home in the midst of the big city of Athens!

We arrived after a long international trip early in the morning. The staff helped us store our bags and offered facilities to freshen up. We returned later in the day, bags in the room, and took advantage of the yoga equipment in the room to stretch and relax after the flight. The rooftop was lovely. We had to leave early the next day and Costas offered to take our breakfast. It was prepared with attention and care. Wonderful hosts. The area is also quirky and fun. Great part of Athens. Highly recommend!
