nice house close to the airport, very friendly.

It is a very good experience to stay in Varaba Country House. We arrived the airport around 7 pm, and the driver picks us up on time. The house is very nice and new, the driver is so friendly and the dinner prepared by the cook is excellence! Definitely will recommend to friends and re-visit the house.

Hassle-free with super nice driver Nicholas

Pro: - 10 minutes away from airport - good for transit - Have to emphasize NICHOLAS, the super nice driver arranged by hotel which costed 12€ only (while taxi or other transportation costs more than 30€) friendly, helpful, with different cars to handle 2/4/6/more guests with luggage. You could also talk to him for arranging another transfer, not just between airport and hotel - Free western breakfast set per person (bread, boiled egg, yogurt, milk, cereals, coffee) - Staff are friendly and Christina is responsible via email - Super quiet place at night Other comments: - Around 40 minutes away downtown - can ask Nic to take you directly to town or to airport then take train - Could order dinner from hotel (White wine + Bread + Greek Salad + Baked Penne with tomato sauce, egg plant and mixed meats) - Can order food delivery like pizza but didnt order the dinner (or simply dont like) - You can never walk to this place by youself and I dont think taxi drive can bring you to here correctly Con: - The hot water is not too stable - 4-person room size varies (the bigger one seems old when the modern and clean one is smaller - P.S. We stayed for two nights with same price but arranged to two different rooms)

Such a pleasant surprise. Very high quality in everything at this hotel. We will absolutely stay there when in Athens! Thank you for getting us to the airport very early right when the 24 hr strike happened. So thankful!! Wish we were there longer.

Such a nice place. Owner offered to organize airport transportation for 25euro/trip and homemade dinner for 21euro/person also and it was delicious. The home is so beautiful and everyone is so nice. It feels more like you're staying with a family friend than at a hotel.

Quiet and well appointed, in a countryside setting. Host arranged for taxi to pick us up at the airport, drive us around for dinner, and back to the airport the next day.

We needed a quiet, safe resting place as we flew back from the islands to Athens late at night and the Varaba Country House was perfect. They picked us up at the airport, helped us to our room, were super reliable and punctual. What a nice gift too, to find that the staff had left us an espresso machine to make a much-needed cup of coffee in the morning before our next flight. We will definitely come again! The room was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Grateful!

Extremely convenient to the airport versus downtown Athens for our early flight the next day. I loved what felt like an authentic experience. It is literally in the middle of pistachio, olive and grape orchards with the only other structure nearby an old historical church. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the best we had during our entire stay in Greece, but the best part were the beautiful grounds to interact with other guests and the property dogs and cats. Definitely get the authentic Greek meal for dinner if you go.

Beautiful property. We didn’t get a chance to meet the owners but Nikolia was kind to leave us beer and snacks in our room! We enjoyed the terrace area and our room was super comfortable.

We really liked the property. We met the owner and she was lovely to talk to. The drivers she arranged for us were top notch! The only thing lacking was the food provided. Dinner was extra and was not really very good at all. Breakfast, which was included was very sparse. 1 boiled egg, we all asked for a 2nd, bread, cereal and a small amount of fruit. Definitely not enough to go around for 4 people.

A nice little properties, but it is far from the airport ( I was under the impression that it is only a few minutes from the airport, but actually it was 20min cab ride) Also it is in the middle of nowhere, so you can't go anywhere without a car, not an good location to visit Athens, even though I intend to stay close to the airport for convienence, it is not a good choice after all.

very convenient to the airport. It is a quiet country inn, although planes did fly over. Very lovely place. I would stay there again. Highly advise booking your taxi via the B&B since it is a bit off the beaten track, but they picked me up without incident and brought me to the airport for my flight home.

スタッフの方はとても親切で設備もよかったです。食事もおいしく、リラックスできました。ホテルが契約しているタクシー運転手の方が送迎してくれて、観光の日も最寄り駅まで送迎してくれます。呼べばすぐ来てくれるため大変ありがたかったですが、最終日の精算で目玉が飛び出るような金額を請求されとても驚きました。大した距離も載っておらず、タクシーが安いギリシャにしては物凄い額でした。ベンツで乗り心地はよかったですが、それだけ儲かってるんだろうなぁ…と邪推してしまいました。スマホを操作しながら運転するので、途中ヒヤッとすることもありました。観光地までの便も悪いので、トランジット以外の方は空港送迎無料の他のホテルをおすすめします。
