We loved the area. There were tons of places to eat, shop and close to the Acropolis. Staff was wonderful. We were in town way before check-in time and they got our room ready for us early. The only minor issue was there is no staff available between the hours of midnight and 8 a.m. You receive a code to get in and out of the building, but they made sure we had a taxi called for us for our early morning flight. It wasn't a big deal for us. We enjoyed our time there and would stay there again. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The front desk was helpful and understanding. After a long flight, the front desk was able to check us into our room a few hours earlier than excepted. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. All top recommended places for restaurants and site seeing. Thank you to the staff for great service. I would recommend 👌

Best staff at any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. My mom broke her foot 2 days into our vacation and they helped setup medical care and were very accommodating with her crutches and scooter. We had an early morning excursion planned and they had breakfast boxes prepared for us the night before. They setup taxis to and from the airport as well. Hotel itself was very nice and modern and the beds were comfy! 10/10 would recommend and would stay again

I highly recommend this hotel. The best part is the lovely staff who made our stay so enjoyable. They were incredibly helpful with a medical issue that I had, going above and beyond to help. Please choose this hotel if you are staying in Athens!

Absolutely love the friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early from a cruise and they were able to store our luggage until the room was ready. That gave us the opportunity to be luggage free so we could enjoy the city early in the morning before it got busy. Do not skip the lovely breakfast spread in the morning. They can even make a nice omelet for you. Front desk was super helpful reserving a taxi for us the night before. We loved the unique see through floor and the nice cold air conditioning when it got really hot outside. Would 100% stay here again.

Liked that the receptionist prepared a box breakfast. Did not like the evening music coming from the outside bars, but the hotel provided ear plugs which definitely helped.

Big room, Clean, quiet, great air con. Comfy bed. Great shower and bathroom. Great location. Very central. Would definitely book here again if we return to Athens. Best place we have stayed on our 2 month holiday out of about 30 hotels through Europe.

A great basic place to stay at, ver close to a metro station. This is why I chose it. The lay out of the rooms are a bit strange, but the staff and the service is stellar. They gave me a different vacant room to sleep in when the AC in my room broke down. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I would stay there again due to the convenient location and would tolerate the night life noise that at least in my room was not too bad and I could sleep. I did not even use the earplugs they provided. The insulation is quite good

Very nice hotel in the heart of Athens, close to the shopping areas and 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis. The staff are very friendly. Crystal marked out all the key places to visit on a map, giving us various tips and also ensured we would have breakfast boxes on the days we would be leaving early on tours. The rooms are a decent size with modern fittings.

The Fountain Hotel was a positive experience! Staff was friendly; "Evi" demonstrated such great customer service! We arrived 5hrs before check in and were told that they would prioritize our room to have it ready and clean early for us, which they did. By the time we returned two hours later, our room was ready, and all luggages were brought upstairs - a total of 6-7 heavy luggage items brought to the third floor using the small elevator. Thank you Evi!!! We were given lots of tips and suggestions on how to best enjoy the local area. The only con was it was a little loud at times during the night but it was to be expected due to such a central location amidst a road of bars and restaurants. Ear plugs were provided in our rooms. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and appreciated by the party I was with. There are a fair amount of local cafes and restaurants to grab treats and meals throughout the day. I recommend the spanakopita at Bougatsadiko Psirri! Thank you The Fountain Hotel and staff; we would stay here again.

Le service donné était impeccable. Le personnel était très accueillant et d'une grande aide. Nous avions plusieurs excursions lors de notre séjour nous empêchant de profiter du petit-déjeuner inclus, alors le personnel nous préparait des petites boîtes contenant pain, fruits, jus et petit dessert, qu'ils nous remettaient chaque soir afin que nous puissions avoir un repas le lendemain matin. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la station de métro Monastiraki, sur une rue ayant plusieurs restaurants et bars, donc sécuritaire, mais un peu bruyante les vendredi et samedi soirs. Les chambres sont propres et la décoration est moderne. Nous avons pu visiter à pied depuis notre hébergement toutes les attractions que nous avions prévu voir, puisque l'hôtel est très bien situé. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter et recommandons fortement!

All the staff are amazing, friendly and willing to help. Just ask they know the places where you want to go. The breakfast is very good. If you cannot make the breakfast due to early schedule they provide takeaway boxes.

Absolutely the best time at the fountain. The hostesses were absolutely amazing and sent us to wonderful places. People said it’s noisy but to my self and my husband it was just fine with the window closed even on the weekend. We stayed a total of 7 days at the fountain and everyday was an adventure.
