A beautiful, thoughtful art boutique hotel experience. We loved finding all of the unique touches in our room. Loved the bathtub, rain shower, outdoor patio and rooftop breakfast. Or meals were filling and delicious. The team was excellent and on top of arranging transportation to the port and airport. We make it a point to stay in art hotels and Shila was top tier.

Our host was fantastic. Directions and suggestions for places to go and things to do. Super pleasant. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and kept us full until it was time for dinner! Highly recommend.

Funky place

Interesting place. Very funky vibe. It was a nice place but the funkiness made it a bit uncomfortable. No where to put luggage. The shower was odd. A bathtub with a pipe over it that had water spray all over the place. There wasn’t a closet, only a clothing rack that had “clothing for sale” hanging on it. There was a beautiful courtyard and the breakfast was really good. Its worth a stay just to check the place out.

The most beautifully styled property, perhaps I have ever stayed. You feel as if you are a guest in a designer home and are immediately comfortable. Every attention to detail has been considered. Breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely return!

This truly is a wonderful place. Beautifully and creatively decorated, a treat to all senses. From how everything looks together, to the smells, to sounds and the presence of the place. Great location and excellent and kind people who work there. I would definitely go back.

Es un hotel peculiar. Nada en la fachada indica que lo sea. Solo hay una pequeña placa con el nombre. Entras y te encuentras una casa estudiadamente desvencijada (pintura desconchada, apariencia buscada de abandono), pero con mucho encanto. Nuestra habitación tenía acceso a un patio muy bonito donde desayunamos correctamente. Es como entrar a vivir en un decorado. Personal muy atento. La ubicación no es en zona histórica, pero en 20 minutos se llega a ella. Abstenerse los fanáticos de los hoteles modernos.

The best hotel in Athens.

To say that Shila is an amazing hotel does not feel like enough. It is full of the warmth, authenticity, and comfort you feel when visiting a friend after a long time. The aesthetics and hospitality are unmatched in Athens. It’s decor and amenities encourage you to enjoy each moment with total relaxation and intentionality. The staff are mindful and kind and truly anticipate your needs — it is a true feeling of luxury. Stay as long as you can.
