I had a small room which what I booked and payed for it was a nice clean room with modern furniture and fittings the breakfast was great staff were nice and helpful it was great value and I had a great stay. Also it was handy to the hop on and hop off bus
Close to metro station, walking distance to restaurants and shopping it was great we stayed almost 3 weeks would stay again. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and house cleaning daily
The staff was professional, helpful, caring, and friendly. The breakfast buffet was marvelous. Rooms where clean, everything needed was provided daily. Thank you for a marvelous experience.
This hotel was great value for money.
The staff were super helpful and the place was spotlessly clean. Fine buffet breakfast the following morning with as much of everything as you wanted.
Omonia is often represented as a dodgy area, but there were quite swanky hotels on either end of our street and we ( 2 women in our 60s) didnt feel unsafe at all walking around. The hotel has 24 hour reception service and the staaff couldnt have neen nicer..
This hotel has recently been renovated so everything is modern inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine, plentiful. Its only downside is the area , try to stick to the main roads.
The hotel itself is nice and the staff were great. Breakfast in AM is solid as well. The area of Athens is tough. Only a few blocks from a nicer market stretch but plenty of homeless / prostitute / needles. No actual problems, they all left us alone, but daunting at first with my wife until we figured out the city layout.
The staff was kind and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The value was great. Close to Omonia square where you can get a hop on & off bus.The elevator was small, but I was happy they had one. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Being a solo woman traveler, I wouldn't go out at night. In the daytime, there were a few homeless people hanging out. I would stay there again.
I reckon this is the best value hotel in Athens city centre. Ok... So it's in a rough area... but the hotel is clean and safe, the staff are super helpful, free basic buffet breakfast, private bathrooms. It perfect if you are the kind of traveller who just needs a safe clean place to sleep, as you will be exploring the city all day not sitting in your hotel. I will return.
Friendly staff
Lovely modern, big and clean room, though no door on the shower left the bathroom floor wet every time we showered.
Good breakfast.
The blanket was thin, but the aircon heating/cooling worked perfectly.
Only downside is that the area is rather dicey unfortunately. We certainly did not feel comfortable going out after dark, and even during daylight there were a lot of homeless people in the neighbourhood.
Location very good as only a few minutes to Omonia metro stop.
Room very clean and has been modernised. Unlike many hotels rooms do not face the street so minimal outside noise. Only drawback is that they have lowered the shower head for some reason. Pavement outside very dirty but that is the responsibility of the city not the hotel. Free basic but adequate breakfast provided. Staff polite and friendly. Price/quality ratio hard to beat.
Nice newly refurbished hotel . In a very horrible part of the city . Alot of homeless people on the streets. Hotel staff very friendly and nice . Views from rooms extremely dissapointing . Left a day early . Ok for 1 nights stay if you need to get to somewhere close by but wouldnt stay here again .

SO SO
Actually, the hotel is not bad, just the location is bad... The hotel is a classic affordable hotel, the breakfast is okay but not bad. The Omonia region is not a nice place to stay. If I go to Athens again I won't stay here.
The receptionists are wonderful people, the blonde haired lady is very, very polite, she was very polite when I arrived at the hotel after the flight. Many thanks to the staff!
Overall, I found this to be a very nice and clean hotel that delivered a lot of bang for my buck, with friendly staff, and an exceptional breakfast which was included. I actually thought this hotel deserved 4.2 to 4.5 for the exceptional value and convenience of location it brought to the table. The only thing I really didn't like about it was the bed could have been a little more comfortable. The consensus with the locals is that the hotel is situated in a bad neighborhood. Now I'll admit, while it's not the greatest area for sure, I at no point felt unsafe walking the streets there even late at night, but then again, I'm a rather large man 6"1" 280 lbs who was born and raised in one of the most dangerous cities in the US. However, that is something to consider if you're bringing your family, or a female solo traveling.
This property is great for the price, location for is good for transportation. Now the area is full of drug user and homeless. No, they do not bother you so I felt safe on that part. Now the issue I had this property is. I booked through hotels.com for a 1Queen bed and 1 twin bed, upon arrival I was placed in a 1 Queen bed and pull out sofa chair. This is not what I paid for. I was told that I need to pay for my extra guest. Like why would I pay for extra guest when I booked a room to accommodate three people. Instead of the being honest that they no longer had the room I paid for they wanted to make a big mess of things. As stated the hotel is clean and priced reasonably.
This hotel does not deserve it's high rating. It was a miserable 3 days. It's located in the middle of the ghetto, with drug addicts and prostitutes out on both sides. Unsafe for women to walk at night.
The bed is just as hard as laying on the floor.
The shower head is just a nozzle you have to hold It gets your entire bathroom wet everywhere including the toilet, your toilet paper etc
There's no key card only a normal key and it's a very difficult lock, you have to do it in the dark because the lights need the key's other RFID card to turn them on.
The windows have prison bars on them. See my photo of the prison bar windows.
It's super loud overall everyday especially at night. Everything is marble so sounds bounce everywhere.
The free breakfast is nice and the front desk is nice.
