Perfect Location in Athens

Perfect location for visiting the Acropolis and other historical sites in Athens. Great neighborhood, friendly and helpful hosts, yummy breakfast, close to Metro, all around a great value and a great base for all your Athenian adventures.

The staff here were exceptional. They were so friendly and welcoming that we felt right at home. The rooms were clean and the building had such character. Panajota was especially lovely; she ensured that we were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will miss Acropolis House, and want to thank everyone there for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

Charming and quaint. We booked the smallest room so it was so. The air conditioning cooled very well. The bathroom was attached to the room and was also very clean. The toilet was inside the shower room with a drain which took a little getting use to. We had a safe and mini fridge within our closet. The bed was extra firm and on the smaller side I believe it was a full or queen rather than 2 twins put together for a double. The house was historic and had charm which I prefer rather than a chain hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was typical European breakfast, breads, jam, and fruit. They ask you pick a time slot to have your breakfast served. Also you leave your room key when you leave the house (not new to us we've done the same in Rome) and the front doors will be closed/locked by a certain time. The area was great just a few blocks from Plaka shopping. This is an older property so street noise can be noticeable inside your room thankfully it is a quiet area so not such a problem. I did not notice any noise from ajoining rooms or upstairs. I recommend staying here of course ! but I will for sure choose the larger room for my next stay : )

Au pied de lAcropole

Agréable séjour à Athenes,hôtel très bien situé 5 min du métro et 5 min du quartier touristique Plaka on peut visiter Athenes à pieds,attention les chambres familiales sont au troisième étage sans ascenseur voyagez léger! Mais on est récompensé par la vue sur l’éternelle Acropole ! Literie convenable sans plus et douche un peu petite.personnel attentionné et agréable.bon rapport qualité prix

Hotel centrale ma camera e pulizia da dimenticare.

Positivo: la posizione centralissima per visitare Atene, colazione ottima e reception gentilissima e attenta alle ns. richieste. Negativo: pulizia inesistente e il bagno piccolissimo aveva al centro il foro di scarico dell'acqua, 10 cm di diametro, senza coperchio con il rischio di inciampare e farsi male. Ma il peggio è stato il fatto che non hanno mai cambiato gli asciugamani, noi li mettevamo a terra sporchi ma la sera li trovavamo ben piegati sul letto. Solo dietro richiesta alla reception abbiamo ottenuto un paio di cambi, per cui l'ultimo giorno la stanza era piena di asciugamani sporchi.

Grande déception

Quand nous réservons une chambre double c’est forcément pour deux personnes. Le lit était un 120 de largeur. Nous avons du demander une chambre complémentaire mais celle-ci avait la grandeur d environ 6/7 m2, la salle de bain se trouvait à l extérieur et sale. Pour deux nuits aucun ménage n a été fait ni le lit ni le nettoyage de la salle de bain Le côté positif, les personnes étaient gentils, mais malheureusement ce n’est pas suffisant pour y retourner.

Advertised private bathroom but did not tell you the bathroom was down the hall from your room making it inconvenient for showering and using bathroom at night. Also did not say there was no elevator so we were walking up 4 flights of stairs with bags. Had to leave keys at desk every time you left and had to be back by 12:30 am or make sure you arranged with them ahead of time to have a key to come back later. Had to schedule a time each day for breakfast and not always lot of choices on time if others beat you to it so very inconvenient. And the breakfast was not good

This hotel offers a unique experience in that it is comforting and friendly. Walk to Acropolis shops, transportation all easy. The location is key. Right in the heart of Plaka it allows you to walk around easily and come back for a rest.

In a good location, walkable to the major archeological sites, welcoming owners and staff, inexpensive breakfast (don't forget to pay otherwise it comes out of staff wages), agreed the rooms are small but the property has character. Syntagma metro, tavernas, shops, cafes and other eateries all nearby. All in all a nice, reasonably priced, place to sleep in the centre of Athens.

Good for a budget traveller for a small stay. Location is awesome with all important spots at walking distance. The room which we were provided was different than what we booked but since we were there for one night we didn’t made any fuss about it.

Fantastiskt bra läge på hotellet men inte den bästa komfort. Frukosten var enkel. Skulle dock rekommendera hotellet ändå pga lugnt läge och placeringen i det trevliga Plaka.
