Staff were very helpful and we had constant communication. Room was clean but dated which we did not mind. Balcony was nice. We were close to the Metro 4 min walk which helped us get to and from the airport. Felt safe.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. There are great dining options in the neighborhood and walkable to the sights. A little loud at night due to the bars in the street, but to be expected.

The staff was superb! They were very friendly and helpful. The property itself needs a deep cleaning and significant repairs. It looks and feels absolutely nothing like the photos on Expedia. We arrived expecting a charming, clean, four star boutique hotel as advertised, and instead found a grubby one or two star property… it was a very disappointing end to a great holiday. Heads up: The noise from the bars and restaurants next to the hotel lasts well into the night — bring noise cancelling earplugs.

This place was reasonably priced and worth every penny! The area is safe and near all the shops and eateries! You are near the Plaka, Little Kook, and all the places you want to be. Easily walkable to the Acropolis we didn’t need a taxi at all here!

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. What really sets this hotel apart is the team. They are amazing, so helpful and thoughtful! Would definitely stay at the Emporikon again when in Athens.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Athens

We started our Greece Honeymoon here at Emporikon Athens Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. Vicky the host helped us get settled and even helped cover our taxi fare when we didn't have cash and the driver's card reader was broken. The location cannot be beat in the center of Plaka. I would highly recommend this hotel for a classic Athens experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to navigate the area. We were fortunate to have a view of the Acropolis right from our balcony, which was a highlight. The room we stayed in was unique, spacious, and clean, though there were some minor challenges, like the lack of a curtain in the bathroom. Despite that, it was a very pleasant stay overall.

The Executive suite had such a great view of the Parthenon and the room was a good size. We loved that it was in Monistiraki which is right next to restaurants, bars, etc. Great location for night life and convenience, along with walkable location to the Metro subway. The staff and manager were super accommodating and friendly. We also got free water bottles and drinks to take with us wherever we went.

Loved our stay here!

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in Athens for 2 nights before flying out to the islands for the rest of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The location was amazing! Walking distance to pretty much everything you’d want to see! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part was the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. They helped book transportation for us, gave us a ton of restaurant recommendations, and we’re just overall amazing.

Check in was great, and the location is amazing with a lot of shopping and dining options around. However, had to move to a different room the second night, as my first room woke me up in the middle of the night with water leaking from the ceiling all around the bed. They couldn’t move me that night as the hotel was full and had to sleep on a cot, which was quite uncomfortable. However, they upgraded me the next day to a suite with an amazing view. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms as well.
