I discovered that bathing products didn't be renewed, one-third of conditioner is being used and left with some white dried conditioner. Disgusting dirt was unclened around the garbage bin in washroom. Floor near bathroom got moudly. I couldn't expect these happened in a 5 star hotel. Hotel do need to be reconditioned, obsolete impression. Other than that, view of acropolis was great, staff were nice, breakfast buffet tasted average

Coco Mat Athens-BC was our first stay upon arriving in Greece. The location is just a short walk to the acropolis and SO much more. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß; zwar gab es keine richtigen Schränke, jedoch ausreichend Möglichkeiten, Kleidung aufzuhängen. Uns war bereits im Vorfeld bewusst – und das war auf den Fotos auch klar ersichtlich –, dass keine klassischen Schränke oder Ablagemöglichkeiten vorhanden sind. Nach der ersten Reinigung hat das Housekeeping freundlicherweise eine Kofferablage ins Zimmer gestellt, sodass wir unsere Koffer darauf bequem ablegen und besser nutzen konnten. Zu Beginn unseres Aufenthalts haben wir einen Fleck auf dem Bettlaken festgestellt. Wir sind sicher, dass dieser nicht von einer anderen Person stammte, sondern vermutlich durch den Trockner oder die Waschmaschine entstanden ist. Nach unserer Meldung wurde das Bettlaken sofort ausgetauscht, und uns wurde zudem ein äußerst großzügiges Angebot als Entschädigung für die Unannehmlichkeit gemacht. Das Personal ist hervorragend geschult, stets aufmerksam und außergewöhnlich freundlich. Wir haben uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist erstklassig, und insgesamt gibt es an diesem Hotel absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Excellent hotel near Acropolis. Room was comfortable with an excellent mattress. Hard wood floors everywhere were a nice touch. Breakfast buffet was light years above anything in the US. The restaurant had much more limited menu for lunch or dinner but there are literally hundreds of restaurants within w walking distance. The room had a view of the Acropolis from the balcony but the street below was pretty loud during the day. The gym in the hotel is rather limited.
