「Excellent place to stay! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a home away from home, with genuine local knowledge and hospitality. George, Selina and Siupeli (apologies if I’ve spelt any names incorrectly!) were all so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was also fresh, healthy and delicious. Highly recommend staying here!」

「This was our second stay at Simon's Place, we like the relaxed, genuine Tongan atmosphere. The owners and staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Lovely help yourself breakfast and the cafe meals are delicious too. It's a convenient location, just a short 10 minute stroll to town past the market or to the waterfront and it can be interesting with the wandering dogs (we never had any trouble), cockerels and chickens - even an occasional pig and piglets!! Hey, it's Tonga,...

「The host is so kind and helpful - she is very accommodating. And she has the best smile!」

「Good location and clean.」

「Lovely people. Lots of space. Uliti gave me rides to change money and go to town and picked me up when he was available.」

「All good」

「Convenience with restaurant and friendly staff. Airport pick up and drop off was nice, and the meals were quite good, with the staff asking for feedback on how to improve things which was good to see.」

「I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. My room was well apportioned and very clean. It looked out through palms to a beautiful white sand beach and ocean. They even strung a hammock just outside my door which made for excellent down time. The road in is in pretty bad shape but they are looking to repair it. It adds to the rustic flavor! This is a very small and...

「It is a nice hotel with a restaurant, relatively quiet, very nice environment, the front desk has a good sea view.」

「I didn't get what I expected in booking a deluxe king room. The air condition didn't work, the TV didn't work, cupboards were broken, there was no mini bar stock in the fridge, no tea/coffee supplies, only the kettle. We were moved to a standard room and still the air con didn't work. The towels were not replenish the whole time we were there.」

「This was a last minute booking made when our preferred booking was cancelled, after being confirmed more than three months earlier, apparently due to overbooking??? On arrival, the toilet was broken and dirty. The room wasn't secure as a window locking mechanism was broken. And, for most of our stay the internet wasn't available. And then, the controls for the television and the air conditioner were labeled in Chinese--awkward. The continental breakfast was minimal, and during our stay, had...
