very nice hotel. Accommodations were very nice. I won’t give it an accent because our room was very outdated but very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the Nile river. Food was nice and the staff was wonderful.

The hotel staff are amazing. We were upgraded on arrival and the room view and location were excellent. The breakfast buffet was huge and fantastic.
But here’s the problem with this hotel. It’s old. It needs a proper refurbishment. The decor looks like it’s from the 1990s and that’s why I think it’s overpriced. It’s more of a 4 star hotel than a 5.
Staff were pleasant and helpful but the cleanliness of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Something had been spilt on the floor in the hall and was there for the entire 2 days we were at the hotel. The pool chairs were dirty. Breakfast buffet was fine. The evening menu items were better than the evening buffet. The hotel location is close to the river cruises but it is not a nice area to walk.
Excellent stay at the Tolip Hotel! I stayed for two days over the Christmas holiday and would definitely stay again if I visit in the future. The location is very convenient, the staff are warm and friendly, and the food was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed both my Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day dinner as well. The rooms are impeccable, very clean and equipped with all the necessary conveniences. Highly recommend
The staff were extremely helpful we had a problem with our wi-fi connection in our room which was sorted by staff straight away.
Couldn't ask for better service.
We were looked after very well.
Our room was excellent.
Thank you Tolip Hotel.
This appears to be the major hotel in Aswan. It was good value for the price. Our suite facing the Nile also offered a nice view of the swimming pool down below. We had a pre-view of the Jaz cruise ship we were about to take from the hotel balcony. We ordered in-room dining which was decent.
Staying at The Tolip Hotel for beautiful overlooking views of The Nile or the city of Aswan is already winning, but staying around the Christmas New Year holidays is amazing! We were guests treated like family receiving complimentary Christmas card, fruit & sweet snack bags and chocolate cake rolls on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed both the room service meal options and dining in the restaurant with very polite staff hospitality. All reception staff were welcoming, porters were exceptionally warm friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was vigilant about providing whatever we needed and making sure no mosquitoes could creep in from the balcony and bother us. It was too cold for us to swim, but the swimming pools were lovely on the Nile side.
Overall, The Tolip makes us want to return as soon as we can.
This is a perfect place for tourist. Room is big , clean , staff is friendly and the breakfast bag for next days’ trip is prepared well

Great place . Staff very good . Got an upgrade to junior suites. Mohammed”Jimmy” from the front desk was very helpful and made sure everything is taken care of.
There were significant issues with the room. Toilet had to be fixed twice in our less than 48 hour visit. WiFi didn’t reach the room and the hotel was unable to address the issue. Breakfast was fine. I would recommend against this property - it is hostel quality at luxury prices. This is barely a 3 star hotel.

First we travel a lot. We generally give great reviews. This property was once a jewel but the room we stayed in which was supposedly an upgrade was in acrosels the street on the Nile. I would have been spectacular but the room was tired..rust on faucets corners of the shower were black with age ot possibly mold. My wide could not sleep on the rock of a maitress. Reception area is beautiful the staff were wonderful and breakfast was really well done. Great vistas from the breakfast deck the main hotel seems really spectacular. Dont pay extrs to do across the street it sucks.
Best location in Aswan. We have stayed here several times before. Top of the town and on the Nile. Quiet and tranquil. Upgraded to a Junior Suite. Great view and spacious. Management also allowed my cousin (who mistakenly booked the wrong hotel) to use the poolside with us after his trips. So, thank you. Unfortunately, some services could be better. I had to clean the balcony chairs from a layer of dust before use. No pool attendant or towels until after 10 am, and pool snacks always arrive cold. However, the guest relations managers (Monika and Sarah) were superb with us, and the General Manager Mr. Mohamed
Ragab was an excellent host. I am confident that these small issues will be resolved to make our next stay even better. God willing, see you soon. Thank you.
Really old hotel that hasn’t evolved.
Checkin staff are not helpful & act as if they’re doing you a favor by doing their job.
Rooms are gross & desperate need of a good clean. Bathrooms have mouldy grout & stains toilets.
Restaurant staff are attentive, incredibly polite & the only redeeming factor.
I used the “spa” for a massage & it was likely the worst massage I’ve ever received. The masseuse is clearly untrained, likely never given anyone a massage before & so incredibly disorganized. Definitely do NOT recommend the spa.
Property was gorgeous with the Nile suites very spacious, next to the pool, and next to the river. Great sunset views! The event center was fun with bowling, billiards, and other games. Had three issues: (1) Room service food and quality of service were not good. Main issue was the lack of English-speaking ability among the staff resulting in messing up my order multiple times. Also, the meat was always overcooked and quite dry. (2) Wi-Fi did not work while we were there as they said they were updating the system. (3) Hot water in the shower was not consistently available. With all that said, I would still go back as the property was beautiful and service was friendly.
We had a good experience at this hotel. We only stayed for one night. Service was good but not excellent. Signaling to get to places was poor. Many of the staff members would not speak English and even though most of they tried to assist they were not properly trained or did not know themselves how to help. Our was upgraded to one of the VIP villages next to the nile and the room had ample space and a magnificent view to the pool and the Nile. The room however was not very clean. The sofa had not been vacuumed properly. The TV remote controller had a leather case that was worned out looking old and dirty. We were offered complementary fruits. Overall our experience was not bad and it was a positive one but attention to details would improve the experience of the guests.
I have to mention that we visited the shops in the hotel. The jewelry store an some beautiful items at a very fair price. The young man at the store was very pasive and not pushy as most salesman. We also bought a bag and other items at the other store (in front of the jewelry store). We are very happy with the products we purchased. Good quality and fair price.
I was there at the beginning of summer so very few people, which was a shame. Hotel staff were all extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Did not use the beautiful pool because it was just too hot. Excellent turnaround time for laundry service which we took advantage of twice. Very nice breakfast buffet. Lovely view of the Nile from our two bedroom, two bathroom suite.
