「I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous the views from the balcony is amazing. The staff were so lovely. It’s so close to the Town centre and there plenty of parking if you’re travelling with a car. Overall it was an amazing stay」

「The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. 」

「Very average. Overall a nice pub area.
Checkin was rushed. No parking nearby and confusing as to which car parks allowed overnight parking. Carpets were filthy and didn't look like they had been hoovered in a week.
Breakfast was fine. 」

「Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard.」

「The rooms were luxuriously furnished and the hotel overall is very cosy and welcoming. Staff couldn;t do enough to help and the attention to detail was fantastic, everything from bags for walking boots to fresh milk on the landing for in room tea and coffee. A bottle of speciality beer in the room was a bonus.」

A nice old traditional pub with plenty tables outside.
Bed comfortable enough for one night stay.
Good, powerful shower.
Delicious full english breakfast.
Dining room was a little fusty and in need of a some TLC and the evening meal was a bit overpriced for what it was but still an overall charming stay in this gorgeous location. 」
