Set on a dead end in Ashford, CT this property is at an advantage for everything. The area is dark in all the right places and the road is a dead end. The Ashford is also set in prime leaf peeping county and has a nice walking spot. (If that’s your thing)
The staff is a lovely local couple who will help you with patience and guidance. They were super patient with every question I asked.
Ashford has many features and many ways to enjoy the outdoors, including the Nipmuck Trail as well as several preserves managed by Joshua's Trust. Notable properties in town include The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation, and Eastern Connecticut State University's Church Farm Center for the Arts and Sciences.
I stay at a lot of Hotels and twenty out of ten recommend the Ashford Motel.
