I choose the moderns room with the fan. The place is secluded, quiet, with easy transportation from the coffee park by taxi, and the hotel also offers transportation service.. The place is a farm, surrounded by plants and palms, so quiet, relaxing with birds around… The hotel serve a nice breakfast and offer dinner services too.. the staff was nice and welcoming

You can find Better

The place is nice but you have to wait for service because they seem to be okay with having people wait. The room provided to us smelled extremely humid. When I went to use the bathroom I noticed the fan wasnt working and there was mildew all over the ceiing. I brought it to their attention and asked to switch rooms. They said they would make a note since it was late but when we left the next day and someone went into the room to paint the ceiling. When I returned the smell was gone however, it started lingering again when we were leaving. We ordered a taxi with them and they UP the price of the taxi to make commission. Not all the service was bad as some of the younger staff was really polite. However, it needs improvement. Power went out our second night and we did not receive a discount.They didnt even have lamps to provide and because the water is operated by a pump water went out as well. When I was leaving they told me to come settle the amount due for dinner we had the first night. I did but any other place would have waived the dinner due to the multiple inconvenienes faced.

A beautiful place to go to disconnect. The staff and our tour guide were attentive. El Parque del Cafe is 10 minutes away from the property and not far from Montenegro, a local town.

Old world charm is good if you like that sort of thing. It is not a 5 star or even 4 star hotel. Being an older property (1920s), rooms are very scanty, no hanging closets, hot water is intermittent, approach roads are full of pot holes.

Un lugar encantador, muy cerca del Parque del Café ☕🌄 Nos hospedamos en el Hotel Hacienda El Percal durante nuestro viaje familiar por el Eje Cafetero y fue una experiencia maravillosa. El hotel está muy, muy cerca del Parque del Café —a solo unos minutos—, lo que lo hace ideal para quienes quieren disfrutar del parque y descansar luego en un entorno tranquilo y natural. El acceso es por una vía rural desde la carretera principal, unos 10 minutos manejando por un camino que no está en las mejores condiciones, pero totalmente transitable con cuidado (incluso nosotros, con un carro bajito y en plena temporada de lluvias, llegamos sin problema). Las instalaciones son cómodas, las habitaciones limpias y amplias, y el entorno es precioso: naturaleza, aire puro y mucha paz. El servicio de alimentación del restaurante del hotel merece una mención especial. En una zona donde no hay muchas opciones gastronómicas de calidad, fue un alivio encontrar comidas deliciosas, bien servidas y con precios justos. El personal es extremadamente amable y atento. Nuestros hijos la pasaron increíble y aún sueñan con volver. Los mimaron muchísimo, sobre todo la noche en que les organizaron una fogata con malvaviscos, y cuando disfrutamos del jacuzzi bajo las estrellas. Queremos destacar especialmente al trabajador que nos hizo la fogata: una persona amable, dedicada y con una gran disposición para que todo saliera perfecto.

Esta propiedad estuvo excelente para una persona que no necesite acceso al internet ya que es demasiado limitado (solo en la zona de comidas) en la reserva decía wifi pero realmente no es así. Viajamos de USA de vacaciones y lo que más esperábamos era poder disfrutar de las delicias del Quindío CAFÉ en especial y la comida y estás dos cosas fueron pésimas!!! El café nada que ver y la comida me queda más rica a mi…. Las facilidades y la finca como tal muy bella. Si están mirando quedarse en un sitio cerca al pueblo para poder comer comida de verdad rica este no es el lugar ya que es alejado del pueblo y prácticamente obliga a los comensales a comer platos que desilusionan

Buena opción para ir a los parques.

El hotel es una gran opción si quieres ir al parque del café y panaca. Es un hotel básico perfecto para dormir alejado del ruido. Tiene parqueadero propio y el desayuno está incluido. Algunas limitaciones para cenar en la noche pero la gente es muy amable.

Beautiful traditional farm style hotel. Very close to the Coffee Park. My only complaint is that being located in the coffee growing region in Colombia I would expect the morning coffee to be very nice and strong, but instead it was kind of watery. I had an amazing time with my family though!
