"Had an amazing time staying at the Villa Clementina, the staff were excellent and treated us like family. The restaurant was excellent and the view is breathtaking. Can't wait to stay here again"
"Really lovely B&B such good value for money. Cleaned often plenty of towels soap ext provided. Hosts were great at communicating super helpful and ready to answer questions. Very cute town with lovely views. The room was spacious and clean and we were provided with really useful stuff for our stay including a hair dryer and adaptor plug. Only negative would be that the bus service was a bit confusing however this is not the fault of the B&B at all and they included bus information and recommended that you bring a car in their booking confirmation. Overall a fantastic place to stay."
"What a hidden gem. Really beautiful property. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a rental car which made this perfect for us. It might be a trickier location to get to if relying on other modes of transport. It's about 15mins drive from Bellagio. The apartment we got was perfect. The views stunning. The sundeck and private beach were super cool. Be warned the beach (like most around the area) was super rocky so some sort of footwear is useful to have. Breakfast was great. We rented a self-drive boat from a company that was about a 10 min walk along the waterfront path. Made for a perfect way to see the lake."
"Older establishment in the small town of Lezzeno, on Lake Como. We met the grandson of the owner, Jonathan, who was terrific and a source of knowledge on the history of the family owned establishment. We also met grandfather, who was still working at age 90. Cristina and Desiree have worked there for years and are the managers. The original hotel dates back to the 60s, rooms are smaller and across the road from the beach side restaurant/bar. A newer two story building is where we stayed. We had a second floor room with a balcony and magnificent view of the lake. The bar is open from early morning until late and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Lot's of water sports to be had, although we didn't partake. Only a few other restaurants in town and driving along Lake Como is a challenge as the road is often a car and half width, but it was fun!"
"Amazing hotel in a beautiful little town. Perfect location as just 15/20 mins from bellagio. Staff couldnt be more helpful, views were incredible. Breakfast was lovely.
On the bus route from bellagio to como bus stop just outside the hotel. We had a card but didn’t use it at all here.
Take the path/road right opposite that takes you up and inbetween the house and you will find many little pathways to avoid walking on the road into the busier side of town. There are also lovey walk along the lake further into town.
Ferry 10 mins walk, has a few in the morning that take you to all the major towns. We then ferry hopped between the triangle.
Boat rental 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants I would recommend are Aurora, we visited in the daytime. At night we loved The Stone House, amazing fresh fish and beautiful pasta and Osteria II Governo 1801 was absolutely incredible, make sure to book that one in advance to guarantee a table."
"We stayed just for one night with a toddler on our way home and were pleasantly surprised to have found this gem. It is probably everything what people think of when they talk about a cute BnB full of little details that show how much the owners care. The room was unique, tasteful, clean, charming. The garden was great to relax under a beautiful huge tree. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Would go back there anytime. Thanks a lot for the lovely stay."
