Station House Arddleen The GWR Oswestry to Welshpool railway used to run through here. The track has long gone but the platform and the station house are still here.

Montgomery Canal, Glanfa'r Dwr Llydan - Wide Water Wharf. The basic wharf was built by British Waterways when the canal was upgraded several years ago. The village has made the area a great open space with seats, mowed grass and a barbecue.

We had an excellent stay. All of the staff were very helpful. The room was large and clean. We enjoyed the gym, pool, sauna and steam room. The leisure centre members were very welcoming and friendly also. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We will come and stay again.

Staff were lovely and welcoming even with a self check in! Came to make sure we had a travel cot and high chair for our baby as we didn’t specify age of our youngest child! Lovely sight we can’t wait to go back

The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating ...
