"The restaurant the room was attached to was good but it seemed like the owner as an afterthought decided to let out rooms. My room was small and shabby. The bathroom was just as tiny. The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. "I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. It’s only an 8-minute walk from Assisi train station. The location is excellent—we walked just 5 minutes to the Basilica of Santa Maria. For halal food, Alo Ali Kebab shop is right across the road, and for non-Muslims there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby. The housekeeper, Joy, was amazing—we already miss her! Special thanks to Diletta, you truly are my lifesaver. We will definitely stay here...
