"Centrally situated accommodation close to Nicosia old town. Huge bathroom and everything worked. Communication with hosts was fantastic. They have everything at their fingertips and responded to any questions promptly. Great value for that location and quality of space."
Cleopatra Hotel

"The hotel is in a great location. The gym is rarely open. Evenings and Saturday only, closed all day on Sunday. So one of the extras you look for and pay for in a hotel is basically a waste of space! The pool in the Summer is packed, mainly children and families. It is also opened to the public for a fee from 10.0 am and on the days we stayed there was a queue every morning. So, paying hotel guests who do not get to the pool early enough struggle to get a sunbed. On the Saturday we used it, if we had been 15 minutes later, we would not have got a sunbed! It need more supervision to ensure hotel guests have priority and if adults are trying to swim, ask the children and families to leave a meter or so by the edge. I was NOT impressed. The pillows in the rooms are very low quality, small and lumpy. We asked for better pillows and was told, there are spares in the wardrobe! Yes, we had already found them and they were just as bad if not worse. It is NOT a cheap hotel and simple things like pillows are not even given a consideration for guests to get a good nights sleep. My partner and I used to stay at this hotel but stopped because it was very dilapidated and in need of upgrading. That work has been done, so we returned. The one good thing about the hotel previously was the breakfast. It was very good quality. Now, it's mediocre. Cheap sausages, not cooked. Never any fresh fried eggs, the bread was hard, no pastries. Even the teabags are very low quality now."

"Nice hotel. Safe area . Unfortunately there is an construction in front of the hotel and there was early noisy trucks, tools and crane. Besides that love the staff and spotless rooms."

"Great staff. mario, mamas and Maya are all super friendly and professional and made my stay enjoyable - I hope I got the names right. Great location too - near grocery and restaurants and the border crossing. The hotel is right beside the solomos square which is the public bus stop and can access airports - just need to check the schedules online. The other direct airport shuttle to and from larnaca is about 45 mins walk away but bus will take you near there and you can pay 2.40 euros cash. The hotel is older and period but is charming. The ac, fridge and tv work well. Some parts wall painting is chipping and some “mold” in the bathroom but didnt bother me. I was on the third floor and there is no elevator so if you have a high floor room and heavy bags that might be quite challenging. Some people complained about noise but I didnt hear much from the main street right outside. i slept well and enjoyed my stay. i will definitely consider stayingbthere again. Staff and location are the greatest strengths."
