"Modern hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Large room, bathroom had separate bath and shower. Buffet breakfast had an excellent selection to choose from. It is a little further from the centre of town though and sadly, at the moment, right next to a construction site (not a lot the hotel can do about that, though)"

"Clean room, amazing views, comfy beds. We enjoyed the extra touch of champagne and macaroons left for us. Coffee was also there, no need to purchase and bring with you. The code entry for the door worked well. And hreyfill taxi service knows how to get you to and from the Domes and Reykjavik. Be sure to schedule with the taxi the night before you want to leave to avoid a wait."

"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

"It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!"

"Quite simply, incredible. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. When we return to Iceland we will not consider anywhere else other than Kriunes. A huge thank you from my wife and I and we hope to return and live the experience all over again."
