「We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary. 」

「Mooi historidch en gerenoveerd pand dicht bij de snelweg, zonder hinder te ondervinden van dese snelweg. Vriendelijk personeel en onze hond was heel welkom. Kamers zijn brandschoon en de hele accommodatie ruikt lekker. Electrische oplader voor auto is gratis, maar wel erg traag. 」

「Despite turning up in biker gear I was welcomed warmly by the lady on reception. The breakfast options were explained and I went to the room. The room was clean and had a good array of bits and pieces, 2 small waters, dental care kit etc, a hairdryer with additional bits I don’t know the use for being A; male and B; bald. 「We were there for three nights, it was very nice, good location, great for a rest and near mirador Nervion for a good walk. Good food nearby. Markets available close to hotel. 」

「Lovely quiet county retreat. The staff were so nice and food delicious. Wonderful area for hiking but note that wooded walks only straight from the hotel. Only a short drive to get to more open hiking. Great towns nearby too.」
