good and clean hotel

the hotel is good, close the the city with a very nice team members. the bathroom wasn't ideal and the surraonding is full of work (arranging the road and parking).

Lovely hotel on the edge of Mechelen. Shame about the building work opposite which has been going on over a year and looks like it will not be finished anytime soon. Parking is in the nearby multi-storey. Walking distance from town, many places to eat.

Must stay! Such a beautiful and historical hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with high ceilings. Gorgeous grounds, with seating by the water outside. We stayed here while visiting for Tomorrowland and it worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend! Parking can get confusing with the construction and stuff so make sure to park in the large parking garage and walk over the bridge next to McDonald’s to the main entrance of the hotel.

Flere praktiske problemer

Opholdet levede desværre ikke op til forventningerne. Airconditionen kunne ikke køle værelset ordentligt ned, og det blev hurtigt meget fugtigt. Badeværelsesdørene kunne ikke lukkes, så damp og fugt spredte sig til resten af rummet. Bruseren havde fint tryk, men kun én indstilling – og det åbne design uden kant eller afskærmning gjorde, at hele badeværelset blev vådt efter brug. Sengetøjet var nogenlunde, men puderne føltes kunstige og ubehagelige. Personalet var venligt, men manglede overblik og evne til at finde løsninger. Da vi ankom før check-in tid og spurgte til muligheden for early check-in, blev vi tilbudt at betale 25 EUR for at få værelset én time før. Da vi selv foreslog at opgradere, fandt de pludselig et bedre værelse ledigt med det samme til 20 EUR – det blev altså kun tilbudt, fordi vi selv tænkte i alternativer. Minibaren indeholdt blot to små flasker vand. Terrassen var fin, men området omkring hotellet var præget af byggearbejde, og det besværliggjorde også adgangen med taxa, uden at vi blev informeret om dette på forhånd. Overordnet set en middel oplevelse med flere irritationsmomenter.

Prachtige renovatie , doch veel tapijt , ook in onze kamer. Alsook in comfort kamer type : geen mogelijkheid om naar buiten te kijken. A.h.w. een gesloten box met kamerbreed tapijt. Een hoog raam in douche dat niet open kan. Jammer. Ontbijt buffet overvloed aan soorten. Kwaliteit matig.

No lo recomiendo

Las instalaciones del hotel están bien, pero por fuera tienen varias obras en construcción y le dan mala apariencia. Los taxis no pueden dejarte cerca del hotel y tienes que caminar con las maletas para llegar xq no tienen forma de darse de reserva. Llegamos a la 1:00 pm y nos dijeron que la habitación estaría hasta las 3:00 pm, lo cual estaba estipulado y al llegarse las 3 nos hicieron esperar hasta las 3:40 pm lo cual nos molestó demasiado y lo único que decían eran que estaban haciendo lo posible por entregarnos a tiempo, lo cual nunca pasó. Por el precio y los inconvenientes que tuvimos no me volvería a hospedar aquí.

Mooi hotel, moeilijk bereikbaar momenteel

Een nacht geboekt omdat we in de buurt naar een feestje moesten. Het hotel ligt jammer genoeg in een werfzone en je moest van aan de openbare parking een eindje over werfplaten om aan het hotel te komen. Dat had Hotels.com duidelijker moeten vermelden. ´s morgens op 6.30u werden we al wakker van geschuif met stoelen/tafels. Niet zo leuk. Verder wel een heel erg mooi hotel en een ruime kamer met mooie open badkamer.

Het hotel is gevestigd in een historisch gebouw (oud gemeentelijk zwembad). Dit maakt de locatie erg bijzonder. Alles is nog behoorlijk nieuw. De service van het personeel is uitmuntend. Op loopafstand van het centrum van Mechelen.

Mooi hotel, bijzonder gebouw, heerlijke kamers met goede bedden. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Enige minpunt Zijn de gigantische bouwwerken rond om het hotel. Die duren ook nog wel even. In de kamer hoor je hier overigens helemaal niets van

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

It says nothing on the website to warn guests the hotel is currently in the middle of a building site. We were woken every morning by heavy machinery outside our room. No safe walk into town for anyone with mobility issues. Despite warning of a food allergy, the kitchens ignored this, wiping out 24 hours of our stay. The management remained indifferent to these concerns. Terrible customer service.
