The receptionist was really kind, helping us even though we arrived almost at 2am. He even helped us bringing upstairs our bags. About the room and how clean it was, perfect size for a 4 member family, perfectly clean and everything was in perfect conditions. 100% recommend staying here, you’ll not regret it

We stayed for 2 nights in a double room. It was clean and comfortable (if a bit small). Nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good (though only instant coffee was available).

Good place to stay with family but nearby cafe restaurants are very crowded and noisy. Room service was a bit lazy too. In general as a Family we liked this hotel.

The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating!! We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, breakfast is good, and its cafe makes great coffee and desserts. It is located in a lively area in Ankara. 10/10 would recommend!

Room was in good condition and clean. So was the bathroom but small. If any fault, the coffee was 3 in 1 and I don't have sugar. Plus no milk for the tea. We took our own supplies so we was ok but most people would not. Staff very helpful.

Despite the noisy neighborhood, the room was relatively quiet, even at the first floor. We liked that it was easy to take the bus or the subway. There is many food options around. The staff were very helpful and nice.

Great location!

Crazy location, seconds away from restaurants, pubs, and entertainment. The hotel and staff are nice. There is no sound insulation. I could hear the TV in the next room through the wall. The door doesn't provide a very good sound barrier. Doors kept slamming shut. Overall, it was a great stay.

Our room was a little smaller than we had expected, but it was clean and staff were very friendly. The area around the hotel was vibrant and felt safe. Public transportation was nearby, but a 50 minute walk would get you to many sites.

Great little boutique hotel in trendy Galata. Just 4 min walk to the tram and 5 mins up the steep hill to Galata Tower. The lebanese restaurant next door is fantastic and great coffee options all around including downstairs from the hotel. Staff are friendly. Nice balcony. Our bed was too big for the room and the sheets didnt fit, other than that, great value for a family of four.

Couldn’t sleep the all night

Worst mattress I have ever experienced! We were supposed to stay for 2 night but have left the hotel on the next morning because we just couldn’t sleep the all night. Obviously the hotel didn’t refund us for the second night and didn’t even care about it! If you like to be swallowed by the mattress this is your choice. Otherwise don’t stay here! The location is good and breakfast is decent , the boy that has checked us in was accommodating and could speak english… but that’s all.

Positive points: breakfast included (wasn't amazing but nice to have if you're more budget-minded); relatively sheltered from the restaurant/club noise from the nearest street; excellent central location; the room and hotel itself were very clean and well looked after. Negative points: randomly one afternoon the shower stopped working; the walls are pretty thin so if your neighbours are talking on the phone etc. then you will definitely hear them; the room had a faint (but noticeable) smell of cigarettes, although I admit this isn't uncommon in Turkey; the wi-fi was *very* intermittent - clearly not able to handle a high number of simultaneous connections. Overall I would probably try a different hotel if I visited Ankara again, but if all you're after is a basic place to stay and don't plan on spending much time at the hotel, the Bukaviyye is perfectly adequate.

The hotel team was great but the hotel itself was ok. The location is busy and loud. There was a construction going on next door which added to the noise and we could not even open our curtains as there were guys working right across from us all days long.
