"Property itself was good. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint is the parking situation and the underground parking is terrible ( my opinion), very steep and narrow. "This property is beautiful and perfect for families. The ONLY issue is mattresses on beds. Not very comfortable which is surprising considering reputation of Bemsaude Hotels. "This is the second time weve stayed at this hotel. This time was because we were in a marcha for san joaninas and we needed a place to stay for a night. Although we absolutely love this hotel, it was a bit of a walk for us especially after marching down a rua da se. Definitely recommended this hotel. ..."

We spent five nights on Terceira Island and didn't get to do all we wanted to. The weather was unpredictable -- cloudy, sunny, some rain, etc. So you need some time. The town is a gem.

We love Angra do Heroismo. It is a very walkable city with lots of cafes, bakeries, culture, and beautiful scenery to appreciate. We will definitely return to Angra do Heroismo.

Make sure to go to the museum and garden up from the main square. At the top of the hill there's a monument with a wonderful view. The museum is in an old convent. A must see.
