「This hotel is a very new build. Family owned. Everything was new and clean, the rooms are very spacious with a very spacious bathroom to go with it. 「Pls don’t pick this hotel if u expect u can have hotel normal service. They are digital hotel with no reception, no housekeeping from 1pm to other day morning. U they don’t expect u need a glass, or a fork and they won’t provide them in the room. To their suggestion, as a digital hotel, I think u should let your customer get those they need in a digital way, say self service counter for necessary. I didn’t get the digital key email before my check in. Lucky that I arrived a bit early before...

「In Volendam, you cannot do better than Art Hotel Spaander. The rich surroundings, absolute comfort and extra extraordinary SPA made this a trip with remembering. The restaurant with the sea view is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon. The hotel itself is quiet, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.」

The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. 「Something different. Stayed in a so called Pipo wagon which was really nicely done and very comfortable. A bottle of red wine was waiting upon arrival and freshly baked bread rolls in the morning. A lovely experience. 」
