"Amazed that this hotel has four stars as it was tired, dark and drab. The executive king room was depressing with cheap and old furnishings and bed linen / towels. Reception told us that all rooms were of the same standard (so there was no point in swapping rooms which had been offered). Breakfast was average. Although booked in for three nights we left after one night and found a better hotel, which wasn’t hard. The receptionist was adamant that, because we had pre paid through hotels.com, it was not possible to get any refund for the two nights and two breakfasts we had paid for. Overall a very disappointing experience."

"I was told it would be a public holiday surcharge on things ordered on a non public holiday. I called for room service no one answered. My car from valet parking was parked where I could not get out. The road was blocked so I had to reverse all the way out. A dessert cost almost $50!!!!!"
