"Salish Inn was a great base in terms of location for hiking Deception Pass and exploring Anacortes including good nearby restaurants a ~10-15min walk away. Had an unusual issue during this stay where staff was missing at the advertised 4pm check-in time: many guests including my group had to wait an extra 30-60min to access our rooms, but once someone arrived on site the rest of our stay was fine. One of our four pillowcases was not clean, but otherwise the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and the rate was great value including free parking, in-room coffee/team, a basic gym, and breakfast.
FYI the property does email a guest questionnaire after booking - check-in is a bit easier if this is pre-filled and apparently the front desk is not staffed after 9pm so important for key access logistics if arriving late."
