"Breakfast is continental with various additions. It does the job of getting the day started. The staff are attentive and will get you anything you want. The rooms are simple but clean but they do not have any air conditioning just some fans . The rooms can get very hot and it can be difficult to sleep. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities. Bring your own shower gel and soap as the hotel only provides a non scented soap stick for cleaning yourself. There is TV in the room but ours only received 1 channel. It feels very safe in the hotel itself and it is right on the beach which makes for great views. Food and drink at the hotel isn’t expensive and is good ."

"We had an amazing 5 nights at the Anjiamarango. Our bungalow overlooking the sea was just idyllic- we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The lovely cleaning ladies kept it immaculately clean too. All the staff are kind & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We just loved how peaceful it was, the beach was long and perfect for early morning beach walks. Lots of Chameleons around in the trees too which we loved spotting. The food was mostly good, we found the portions to be double the size they needed to be, we hate food waste but we just couldn’t eat the massive portions! All transfers & trips were organised perfectly by the hotel & meant we could just really relax! Thanks Phillipe & team - we hope to return one day! Dominic, Becky & Florence "

"Pleasant rooftop restaurant and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it. There was an electrical panel just outside the louvered door by the bed, and some circuit on the panel beeped incessantly. It would not have been possible to sleep without earplugs. Shower was spacious and provided multiple showerhead options, but there was nowhere to hang a towel in or near the shower room. Nor was there anywhere to set a bar of soap or bottle of shampoo. The space could be made more functional with the addition of a small shelf, two wall hooks, and an A/C unit in the second sleeping room."
