"The view from this hotel is lovely. Rooms were nice, kettle and toiletries provided. Walkable to Ella town (albeit a steep road). Bathroom not the best - poor water pressure, smelled like damp. Breakfast and sevice was good."

"It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. Great stay for nature lovers
"Excellent stay at Ella Retreat! loved being so deep in nature and having the sound of the nearby waterfall. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Great spot for nature lovers."

"Très bien, hôtel très agréable, il a plu toute la journée, on n'a donc pas pu trop profiter des champs de thé et des environs.
