Very clean, staff nice and helpful. Location is great, if you are marginally in shape. Breakfast could use a little more variety. It is the same everyday.
Bathroom and room was clean, and we were comfortable in the room. We had a cute balcony and view of the water from the room. Staff helped arrange people to help with bags up the stairs, so thankful for that. Also was a big fan of the tile and the breakfast rooftop views were stunning. I would stay here again. The amount of steps were not as bad as some other hotels and areas and it was great to be so close to the center and beach. They were all walkable from the room.

Last minute booking turned out great. Hotel had private rooms with a fantastic views and breakfast for a decent price right in the heart of it all.
Beautiful ocean view from our room! Room was small but very nice! Perfect for 3 night stay! Beach view was great as well. Close to the ferries! It was hard to find, but a gentleman close by helped us with directions. Several stairs to climb but we didn’t mind. Very friendly women at check in! Great breakfast selection, with a nice view from balcony!

Everywhere in the room was dirty, dusty, and although it had a nice view, the breakfast wasn’t good at all. We were supposed to have someone help us bring the suitcases up, but there was no one available, so we had to find someone ourselves and ended up having to tip them. But it was in a good part of the city.
We arrived by night and booked the room with sea view. We were so happy seeing this. And you can directly look down to the only bar in Amalfi which is only a 5 minutes walk away. The bathroom was super nice and the view while having breakfast as well. The only thing I wanted to mention is the breakfast possibilities. If you’re vegan or vegetarian there aren’t many options and the only option is white bread or cake. But later we found out it’s pretty common in Italy to have such a breakfast, so we don’t mind that. Altogether it’s a super nice and beautiful hotel where you can enjoy the view and be directly in the city.
The location is great, very convenient and close to a lot of things—very centralized. You just gotta get past the 77 stairs. Has an amazing view, and the terrace is really nice. Not sure if all/most hotels in Amalfi are like this because of how old/preserved they are, the “breakfast” is more like a continental breakfast with some pastries, cereal, juice, coffee and yogurt, the shower doors weren’t sealed over the tub, so the water leaked all over the floor, when I notified the front desk and requested it be moped up, she said she would ask-it never got moped up it just ended up air drying. They charge for extra towels, they don’t have beach towels available to take down to the beach, the ac doesn’t work well, luckily we were able to have the window open often just beware of mosquitoes. If you’re looking for a place just to sleep and shower with a centralized location, this is a good spot. If you prefer a place to spend some time in while also exploring, this may not be the hotel for you
Wonderful stay! My partner and i stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful view, nice clean room with air conditioning. Small balcony but amazing view. Staff were super helpful and nice. Our fridge leaked the first day, not sure how but the staff were great help. Breakfast was great, good view. The stairs to the hotel was fine for us in our late 20s. No bugs, no mosquitos. 5 stars, we will be booking again when we come back hopefully soon!
This place was def worth it for the view of the coast line. The only disappointing thing was the lack of cleanliness. Our bathroom was riddled with mold all over the ceiling, it smelled so bad that I strictly limited the bathroom use to make sure I was not in there more than need be.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was clean. The receptionist Barbara was amazing, so kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Amalfi!
You are absolutely booking for location here, which is superb. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, but never, ever again in the summer. The air conditioning in the room just cannot keep up with the summer temps and stays off anytime you are out of the room. My last day I spent almost entirely in the room just to keep the air running so I could finally get some sleep after two restless nights sweating. I was up and down the coast in many different hotels, and this was the only place I had this problem. In cooler temps, I can see no other issues with the hotel. The baggage service is a big plus, especially after two weeks of suitcases going up and down stairs. Staff is very friendly.
