Near to Amalfi marine

Clean. Good location. Good breakfast. In pictures we tought that the hotel was the building near to the sea but it was different smaller building behind that. Also we asked to stay on the upper floor and it was promised to us, but we still didnt get what promised and stayed on the first floor. The AC didnt work properly and the room was really really hot and sweaty (even it was may!).

It's a little hard to find because it's no longer called Eden sul mar. The name is now Mangia Figlia. It's also a bit away from the main part of Amalfi and with the buses being packed and the cabs difficult to get not to mention the high fares the drivers demand. Other than that it's a beautiful view and a nice room. I personally think the cab drivers are thieves in Amalfi.

Although our stay ended up very good it started off weird because there is no sign for the property. We booked a room @ Eden sul Mare, which I guess has been bought by the hotel across the street(??) so it started off confusing! But we ended up getting a great room with a private roof terrace & a fantastic view of the sea, so alright!! It's a walk into town along the busy road, which was fine for us but we're walkers. It might not be comfortable for everyone. The breakfast was good but you had to remember to fill out & turn in the request form by 8pm the night before. Parking was available down the road (20 E a day) which was a major factor in us booking. We were disappointed that the private beach (far below the cliffside hotel) was closed while we were there - no real explanation. That was a bummer bc there are surprisingly few beaches actually available on the gorgeous stretch of coastline. Bottom line - we loved our terrace enough that it outshone other issues.

First of all the hotel it’s not clearly mark .. hard to find … we got room number 1 which is right there in the Main Street we had the worst night of our entire trip .. we could only sleep for an hour because you feel the bed it’s the middle of the street .. the noise it’s absolutely awful .. the AC it’s soo noisy and seriously doesn’t even keep the room cool .. the only good about this hotel it’s the view and the beach down .. other than that I will never go back !

This property was great for the price. I stayed 5 nights traveling alone for a wedding in amalfi. There is a bus stop right outside which takes you into town, but it’s also just an easy 20 minute walk. There is also beach access right across the street (but you have to walk up and down a lot of stairs but worth it!) The room it’s self was spacious but the air con didn’t work well and make a ticking noise and the shower water is either burning hot or freezing cold. You can also hear the neighbors pretty loudly. But over all great stay!

We booked the room on the basis of the photos on the advert, on arrival we was expecting a patio area with sunbeds so we could relax, we were only given a basic room with a very small view over the busy road, we complained on arrival as was told they dont have the room shown available and we are unable to process a refund as it was a non refundable booking. Would never recommend this hotel

Hotel abbastanza nuovo ma molto rumoroso: si sente tutto dai vicini e dormire è impossibile. L’acqua calda è una vera lotteria: a volte calda, a volte completamente fredda. Check-in scomodo in un altro hotel e camera ricevuta molto diversa da quella prenotata online, davvero deludente. La posizione è discreta (15 minuti a piedi dal centro, fermata bus davanti), parcheggio privato semplice disponibile a 30 € al giorno. The hotel itself is quite new but extremely noisy – you can hear everything from the neighbors, making it impossible to sleep. Hot water is a complete lottery: sometimes warm, sometimes completely cold. Check-in is inconvenient at another hotel, and the room we received was very different from the one booked online – really disappointing. The location is decent (15 minutes’ walk to the center, bus stop right in front), and there is a simple private parking available for €30 per day.

Hotel interessante pela vista, bom café da manhã. Mas tivemos problemas pequenos que incomodaram muito. Ar condicionado fazia muito barulho a noite, tubulações de água fazendo um barulho enorme. Água do banho esquentava por apenas 1 minuto e depois ficava gelado. Isso foi muito chato.
