"The hotel is beautiful, stunning views! Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant is very good. Do not recommend booking the annex hotel room apartment across the street from the property. Loud noise including road noise at night. Sea window view, no patio or balcony view."

"We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but Hotel Montemare is in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. The service was the best we've ever experienced. It's the little touches that made it unforgettable: coming back each evening to find a bottle of champagne chilling in our fridge, and ending our days in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the ocean. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Positano so special. We'll be back. 🇮🇹"

The cleaning services are amazing, they even cleaned our room in the time it took us to eat dinner, and we didn’t ask which was such a great surprise the first night! Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi

"Everyone working here was delightful and such a help when needed; easy to understand. Breakfast was a large spread of many different items, including some gf items if needed. There was an espresso maker and a water fountain to use. Our room was renovated, so very updated and wow what a view!! All the comforts you need. The pool was very refreshing; I will say it didn’t look deep on the pictures but it definitely is!! Such a very nice pool and again the view was amazing! The pool bar was an extra bonus! The hotel shuttles were such a nice amenity. We were able to get all the timeslots we needed and is about a 10 min drive each way. It’s quite an adventure! A lot of switchbacks and elevation but I never felt unsafe; these drivers are very experienced! The beach was so beautiful and fun to get to through a grotto and 2 elevators. Amenities were beach bar and restroom with nice chairs. The beach is very rocky so make sure you bring some kind of water shoes. I wore my teva sandals. Wonderful hotel and very much recommend!!"

"This was the most gorgeous hotel and we had such a lovely stay here. The pool is truly spectacular, set right in the cliff. The beach club was so special... we didn't want to leave! The lounge chairs were very comfortable and you could order drinks and food to your chairs. They have a swimming area roped off and you can swim in the sea. The hotel was beautifully decorated in an art deco style. The staff were so kind and pleasant to work with. The buffet breakfast was so delicious and had beautiful views. I loved this hotel!"
