Je risque de manquer de superlatifs tant le séjour s’est bien passé. Une seule envie, pouvoir retourner là bas un jour

Excellent. I loved the private onsen and the view from my room- breathtaking. We went to Nita Pass to the gondola and the view is amazing.
Just a note for westerners, the food can be challenging if you aren’t familiar or like traditional Japanese food. I do not eat pork or beef. I still enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

The Candeo Hotel in China Town Nagasaki was one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I ever had.
The hotel is clean and was so quiet, I thought we were the only guests there, but in fact there were so many! I know because evening when we returned to our hotel room, there would be a silk bag filled with new towels, silk pajamas and house slippers, and fresh bottles of water hanging on the door knobs of all the checked-in guests on our floor...and there were many many bags, but the rooms...

This Dormy Inn had the best public onsen of any Dormy Inn I have used in Japan. The outdoor baths were amazing. Inside, the room was spacious and modern. I had an amazing time in this hotel just a few minutes walk from Nagasaki Station.

Beautiful Nagasaki hotel; well maintained. Rooms are new and with useful tech features. Views are great from the rooms. Location at Nagasaki station is ideal.
Staff is helpful to a point -but they insist their rules must be strictly followed. For example one cannot eat outside food in the lobby - the lobby cafe has a small coffee stand with a very limited selection. If you want to drink a soda in the lobby for example while waiting for someone you're out of luck - no outside food in the lobby...

The hotel had hot springs for the guest to use and the room was large, plenty of space to walk around which is not typical for most Japanese hotels. Room also had plenty of storage space and even had a patio looking over the waterfront. It's not a clear view of the waterfront but it's something.

Amazing hotel. I got the cheapest room, so the view from my window was an adjoining wall, but the hotel is built on a hill, providing dazzling views of Nagasaki. Splendid place.
As to drawbacks, my only complaint is that it is located in an area without nearby restaurants, bars, or even convenience stores. The same isolation that makes it so quiet and grand also means it'll be a fifteen minute, minimum, walk to any businesses.
So you do need to be signed up for the hotel's meal plan, or else...

This hotel is definitely worth staying at because of its location. It is very convenient to stay here because of how close also the restaurants and shops are. The rooms are really big so you can definitely relax here.
