"Overpriced and overrated. Great location and lovely breakfast in a beautiful room however staff were not friendly or accommodating and room was nothing special. I was initially given a room that hadn’t been cleaned and was unmade from previous guests! Then a room key that didn’t work. I was then told because of the inconvenience I could upgrade…. If I paid for it!!! Save yourself the disappointment and book to stay elsewhere. "
"The location is excellent and very close to the Lakefront in Bergen and central station is 10 minutes walk as well.
The breakfast was a 10/10 with lots of healthy varieties of fruits, smoothies, oat porridges and of course all other varieties typically available in a continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly . "
"We came off our ship early in the morning and were told our room would be available from 3pm which we expected but there was no leeway for an early check in. As it was raining we had to sit around for hours. I know it is policy but this hotel does get a lot of business off the cruise lines and should rethink how to cater for early arrivals. People would be willing to pay for an early checkin."
