「We had a very pleasant stay at Mango Tree Villa. The rooms were clean, the garden and pool area were beautiful, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also enjoyed a homemade Sri Lankan breakfast! Regarding the comments about the train close to the hotel, it did not bother us at all. 「Loved this property. The reception was so friendly and welcoming. The pool is lovely. The food and drinks (aside from one mistake) was good and reasonably priced. We often had the beach to ourselves. A few things, such as the gym and probably do with a bit of an update/clean but it was the end of the season and there were very few people to use it. The TV was good for English speakers, should you want news or movies. The hair dryer and mirror were outside of the shower and toilet area,...

「Cabins are rustic, spacious and very lovely. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food was very good, especially the chicken springrolls. I didn’t use the pool but people I was with did and they loved it. It’s a great place to get away from it all. Bring a book or two! The last few km of road to get there is terrible so plan on one trip in and one trip out when you leave. 」

「Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here.」
